Giving 2 starts just thanks to the beautiful furniture. The sales person work and the communication between the customer service and the delivery team is awful. Things went sideways for us. Here's the story. We bought a TV set that included a tv stand, a tower and 3 wall cabinets. The sales person advised us that if we paid premium delivery we were going to get the set in our house just as we saw it in the store. 1st lie. We paid the Premium Delivery and the next day we get everything; however, the tv stand had a crack on the back a one of the cabinets had a bumped corner. So the delivery team took it back and surprise, they don't do wall installation, that was not on the order they received. They called the dispatcher who advised the order was supposed to have a special code and it didn't. We called the sales attendant, she said she never told us that they install cabinets on the wall, very different from your are going to get this in your house installed as you see it here as we were told. Okay, well, our battle with customer service starts since the salesperson wasn't that knowledgeable, we had advised the dispatcher said that service was available. The lady of the customer service requests pictures of what was left in my house and what was returned, which we did. She advises that they can't bring just the 2 pieces that needed replacement, that they would bring a whole new set, to just return what was left here when they arrive + the installation guy was going to come the following day. We had to wait a week. That didn't happen, the 1st day only the tv stand arrives, the next day, the Installation guy comes without the missing cabinet. Mind you, during that waiting week, we fought with customer service because our the messages that we received from City Furniture had nothing to do with that the lady from Customer Service had advised. We ended up with a member of the management team who clearly saw that our situation could have easily been prevented but we now where in deep waters. She tried to get it right, but couldn't. She goes off on Vacation and there again were we having to talk to someone else, and explain the whole situation. The man on the phone get us the missing cabinet scheduled for delivery today (supposedly with installation). The team calls at 3 that they were 30 min away, arrived at 5:30 pm with a TV stand ( something that had already been brought on Tuesday) and the missing cabinet + they DON'T do installation. We were supposed to have our furniture in good standing and installed since October 18, 2021. Many hours of work lost dealing with these people, unnecessary stress and disgust but overall sadness. Especially after being a customer for over 20 years and never having any issues with their products or services. 2 weeks ago (02/24/2023) I went to city furniture to buy a mattress with someone who did not do their job correctly. He made a mistake on the order after he explained to me the mattress cover protector warranty which is what he should have sold me since that is what I asked for and have always had in all previous orders with city furniture. Instead I was sold a set of bed sheets that I did not ask for and have not even received 2 weeks post the order. The manager was also helping during the order and heard correctly that I asked for the mattress cover protector and informed the seller to properly put it in the system. The man that was supposed to sell me the mattress cover protector warranty did not sell it to me as asked by me and reiterated by their manager. We are now having issues with the mattress and are in need to change it because it is affecting my sleep and therefore affecting my work life. We were there just last week (03/07/2023) after having bought the mattress in order to change it and there is where we were informed that the order was made incorrectly and nobody has been able to help us and has informed us that they will not be able to help us over a workers mistake. I am so sad to say that I have had a bad experience with City Furniture that they are not capable of helping me despite being such a loyal customer to them. I feel failed by the company and sad to see that their workers are irresponsible and commit such mistakes that affect their most loyal customers of over 20 years. I am heavily disappointed by this happening and wish to inform the rest of this transgression. I do not recommend people to buy from City Furniture because despite all the loyalty you may have to the company they are not capable of supporting you.

Read moreThere we were buying furniture, having a good time... people were nice. Everything was comfy and reasonably price. We were for sure having a good time.
That is until the actual deliveries were to take place.
Whoever filled out my wife's financial information somehow manage to not notice that the apartment number was not being typed in and thus we never got the account number. This would've have been a minor inconvenience if when we went to try to pay it via phone (knowing something must be do soon) they hadn't also manage to get their social wrong so we couldn't even validate the account. So we couldn't pay and they wouldn't deliver. We finally manage to get someone to fix the mess and the second part of our delivery was to arrive soon with my all important pillow and thus the pillow saga began.
It was supposed to come with the first order, but it was on back order. They said we will get it on the second delivery. No problem, except it didn't come and they marked it as if it had. So I contact them, open a case and they have to do a full audit that took a few more days of my life. Still no pillow since they are still saying a payment is missing. So back on the line with "customer service". Their phone system was supposed to call me after I gave up post a 1 hour wait... it didn't. I called again the next day... another 2 hours of my life out the window in which they close the service and I never managed to speak with anyone. All our accounts are fully paid and I am still sleeping without a pillow 3 months after I bought it.
