Ladybugs Sweet Treats — Restaurant in Hickory

I hate leaving negative remarks. But I had ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my husbands 50th birthday party. She wasn't always available for communication. But she finally texted me back and gave me a perfect rundown of exactly what we had discussed. This gave me confidence that she knew what i wanted and was going to be able to make them with no problem! The cupcakes were not decorated. And they were so stale that no one would eat them. I was very disappointed. This was a big one, his 50th! I really wanted it to be special. I didn't receive an apology or reason for why they were not what i ordered. Unfortunately I can't recommend her for future cake/...

The cream horns and canolis are my favorites (so far!)! ❤️

I also have a pumpkin roll and pecan pie, but haven't tried them yet. I have to wait until after dinner.

Prices are so reasonable, service was soooo friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect!!

UPDATE: Pumpkin Roll was delicious!! The Pecan Pie was out of this world!! It's better than my Great Aunts secret recipe (shhhh, my aunt doesn't need to know this!).

Ladybug Sweet Treats is a wonderful bakery! Angie fulfilled my request, flawlessly, for my sister's 75th surprise birthday cake! Angie took a picture of a quilted wall hanging that my sister had made for our Mother, (as my sister has been quilting for 24 years!) for the top of the cake, which turned out perfectly! The chocolate cake was also very delicious, with a scrumptious middle. I would highly recommend Ladybug...
