Ah, Papa John’s, where the tagline should really be: “Pizza—kinda.” Let’s be honest, not all pizzas are created equal, and Papa John’s is proof of that. The service? It’s… alright. The food? It’s not bad, but it’s not exactly writing love letters to my taste buds either. It’s like they took pizza’s cooler cousin and made it mildly awkward at family dinners.

And let’s talk about the price. For a takeout pizza, it feels like they think they’re running a Michelin-starred pizzeria. I mean, it’s dough, sauce, and cheese, not filet mignon. When I’m paying “premium” prices, I expect a pizza that makes me weep with joy—not one that has me asking if the delivery driver accidentally stopped at a middle school cafeteria on the way.

That being said, it’s not the worst pizza I’ve ever had. It’s reliable, like the friend who always shows up but never brings the party. Will I order again? Probably. But only because convenience wins over quality on a lazy Friday night.

Papa John's doesn't deliver to our house, but occasionly I'll pick one up...I have to say.... They are not really stacking up to the competition anymore, they had a special any specialty pizza for $14.... So I ordered a meat lovers... The toppings we're so sparse that I felt like I ordered a 2 topping pizza. Not sure why I would spend $14, when I could order a 3 topping for $7.99 from Pizza hut or dominoes.... Both of which put more toppings on their pizzas than what I received...

Dillards Clearance Center is only store left. They have some good finds but even their employees get confused about the tags & sales. Two identical shirts on the same sale rack had 2 different prices at the register because they said they received one of them a little later than the other (?!). I had to remind them of another price error because someone hadn't updated the sale sticker. Just keep your eyes open and you'll find some...
