Legends, that’s who. The value is unmatched, and the food? Delicious. The service? Fantastic. The timing of their “order ready” notifications? Oh, my friends, that’s where the comedy begins.

If you’re like me, you trust the internet to tell you when your food is ready. But at Porterhouse, the online “order ready” notification is more like a polite suggestion, not a guarantee. If it says 6:00 PM, you better show up at 5:43 PM unless you’re looking to enjoy the world’s coldest burger. Seriously, I think their app time and actual kitchen time exist in parallel universes.

I’ve learned my lesson now. I roll up to the store fashionably early, just in time to see my burger being plated, piping hot and smelling amazing. If you wait until the app tells you to arrive, well… enjoy your lukewarm lettuce.

Despite the slight scheduling confusion, Porterhouse delivers where it counts: incredible food, unbeatable value, and a team that clearly cares about their customers. Just consider the app’s timing as an optional adventure—it’s all part of the charm.

This experience reminded my why I hate Applebee's! The service was horrible. The place was empty. There was one server per table and we had to get the one that hated her job! She asked for our order as soon as we sat down, before we looked at the menu. She rushed us to decide on drinks. She brought our drinks then took forever to come back and take our order. We assumed it was because she wanted to give us time to decide. So we didn't get bothered. We got no refills from her and had to flag down another server for water. I finally got her attention because my food was swimming in oil, it was cold by then. She said, Next time you need to know what you're ordering! She brought my food back and put it in front of the person sitting at the end of the table, not me, and kept walking. She only came back to drop off the ticket. She asked if we needed anything but never came back to bring the cups that we asked for. We even had to ask the hostess for to-go boxes.
