Dear ALDI Customer Service,
I am writing to express my serious concern and disappointment regarding an extremely rude experience I had with a cashier at your highland park branch on 07-21-2025
The cashier’s behavior was completely unacceptable. From the moment I approached the checkout, their tone was hostile and dismissive. They made no effort to greet me or maintain basic courtesy. When I asked a simple question regarding a price discrepancy, they responded with visible irritation and sarcasm, making me feel disrespected and unwelcome. Their body language and facial expressions only added to the discomfort, as if I was being a burden for simply shopping there.
I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but there is no excuse for treating a customer in such a demeaning and unprofessional manner. I was shocked and offended by the encounter, and I left the store deeply dissatisfied.
I have always considered ALDI to be a place of good value and decent service, which is why this experience was particularly upsetting. I urge you to look into this matter and ensure appropriate action is taken, including staff training or disciplinary measures if necessary. No customer should be subjected to such behavior in your stores.
I would appreciate a response acknowledging this complaint and informing me of any steps being taken to address...
Read moreIt was my first time being @this Aldi's, we usually go to the one in Dearborn heights because we just moved from there to hamtramck. I thought the Aldi's in Dearborn heights was a lot nicer & kept stocked on the floor. This Aldi's I just got there right before they closed which was 8pm which is a little bit earlier then the other one and the staff was really rude about about it than being more professional about it. They didn't have much stocked on the things I needed. Also the prices are higher at this store. I spent around $30 dollars and didn't really get that much. The clean Ness of this store was a 3 out of 1 thru 5. Also they didn't carry foods that they do at the other Aldi's. I think they need some work on the employees and keeping the foods stocked on this store. Also their prices need to come down like the others. Other than that where I live at I have no choice but to go to this Aldi's because there are no grocery stores by where I live and it's about a 10 minute drive in a...
Read moreEXTREMELY OVERPRICED! I stopped in yesterday. Looked like a ghost town, and when I came in I realized why. Price gouging! Every customer stood at whatever section, literally contemplating whether it was worth it to pay extra for next to nothing, go somewhere else, or suffer without it. I needed eggs. Price $5.49 for a dozen (they even had the nerve to post a sign that there's a limit of 2). Meanwhile, there were 2 or 3 other tall, and very full racks of eggs behind the rack at the fridge door; just expensive for no damned reason. You could see nobody was really buying them, so in a few days they will be close to expiration and then they will lower the price to get rid of them. They did this same bullsh* last year with the eggs. The meat was out of this world high. You may as well not shop there. I could find better...
