Dollar General — Local services in Highland Park

It's bad enough that most of the time this particular Dollar General employees seem to not have a sense of urgency when it comes to taking care of their customers, but today when I went to this store there was no one at the counter, the doors were locked and I stood outside in the cold for almost 15 minutes while the young lady minding the register was on her break. You would think that management will be sure to have apple help. Someone from corporate needs to take a hard look at what's going on at their stores instead of worrying about their bottom line alone. If you continue to have your customers mistreated you won't have to worry about about a line there won't be one...

This is location is filthy and needs a DEEP CLEAN. EMPLOYEES needs to be retrained on customer service. The lady stocking the food aisle was extremely rude to a customer who was looking for specific items that were not on the shelf. BEHIND the front register needs to be cleaned stocked and organized. For example, there should not be items blocking other items that customers are looking for ex Gain Detergent. Lastly the male employees that was working today, Saturday, March 8, 2025 needs to take his personal hygiene seriously because there is no way that he should be allowed...

I wish I could give this store zero starts! It’s always an issue or rude employee at this store , but today put the icing on the cake! This store is suppose to stay open until 9:00pm . I pull up to the store at 8:34pm. The young lady is sitting behind the counter texting on her phone BLATANTLY ignoring me and the gentleman who were knocking at the window to get in!
