Forman Mills — Local services in Highland Park

The manager Tamara just told me that she could not give me a price check on 6 watches even though I was the only customer there until another customer walked up the cashier didn't know how to do anything so she called Tamara for me ,Tamara came and assisted the next customer and told me which watch do you really want cuz we cannot price check all of these I said what are you talking about it is only six watches the cashier has already scanned one watch and it was cheaper than what it was marked so I know from shopping here for decades plus from being a person who worked here I know that a lot of times things are marked down but not marked on the item Tamara tells me which watch do I really want because I'm holding her up from taking care of her customer. I said what I didn't have a chance to tell her that I'm the reason she was called to help the cashier help me do my exchange and a price check on 6's that I was interested in buying because I bought 10 watches from here last week that were on sale for a dollar. Tamara has given me attitude and problems before I don't have time for it I will not spend my money here and I am calling corporate or messaging them on...

I would love to give this place a better score.....because the set up of the store is nice the product availability is really good. Not to mention, i love the location. It's very convenient.

My problem is the majority of the staff. They don't greet you as you walk around the store or when you're checking out. They're not quick to help you find the items that you need......but they are EXTREMELY quick to tell you that they are about to close for the evening. Mind you. Not every worker there is rude. I have met some that very much like working there.....but the bulk of the staff need customer service training and they need to start greeting the customers more instead of watching the clock. It makes me, as a customer, upset to feel like I'm being a nuisance to shop there......and embarrassed, as a worker in the retail industry, to see people act like this at their jobs. They must improve on this...

Forman Mills has the amazing quality of being a department store from another dimension where Eastern European communism came out on top and somehow managed to hold it somewhat together enough to have an overstock store. It's clean, but the employees are useless. You don't actually have any sort of guarantee that a size label is even somewhat accurate, but you CAN get a glass-top table with a plaster elephant's foot for a base. Most importantly, you can get t-shirts that might be in your size in any color under the rainbow for under two bucks as long as you're willing to dig and look for them.

All said and done, this is one of the few Forman Mills where nobody has threatened to stab me in the parking lot, and I've gotten plenty of clothing here that's lasted at least 10 wears, so I...
