When the time came to start ring shopping, I had seen plenty of rings that had qualities that I loved, but I didn’t find “the one”. So I took the pictures from various rings that I had saved and we went to Bentleys to talk to Gisa and Kevin about designing my engagement ring. In addition to the pictures I had on my phone, Gisa went above and beyond by pulling various rings from the displays in order to create a rough visual aid of what the ring would look like. Anytime I walked into the store, they made me feel so welcome!!

Throughout the process, from computer aided design (CAD) to finished product, Gisa was there to answer any question I had, gave me honest opinions, and made sure I was 1000% satisfied. Kevin and Gisa both helped us pick out the center diamond, and when it came time to talking about price, Kevin was extremely fair. Kevin genuinely cares about his customers, and you can see it everytime he is in the store; he really loves seeing his customers happy.

I live in Michigan and got connected with Kevin from Bentley's through a coworker. From our first conversation, he was helpful, informative, and understanding as I laid out my budget and what I was envisioning for an engagement ring.

At first, I was a little intimidated about the whole design process being virtual (since I live out of state), and concerned that the end product would not be high quality if I couldn't oversee every step in person. However, it turned out I had no reason to worry. Kevin did an amazing job over phone calls, texts, and emails helping to hone in the perfect, custom ring. He guided me through certain elements of the design that I didn't have the know-how to see, like how light would interact with the stones and how certain settings would be more secure.

Over and over, I saw that Kevin was first and foremost concerned with my satisfaction. This has not been my experience working with other jewelers, who are constantly trying to upsell you to increase their profit. Kevin made it clear that he wouldn't take a dollar unless the ring was absolutely perfect. Thankfully, ring I got (in amazingly quick timing) was perfect.

After searching the web for hours and going to all the jewelry stores in the mall trying to find a good quality off-center, horizontal cross necklace for my daughter's birthday, I came up empty and frustrated. I finally decided to try our local jeweler, Bentley's. I must admit that it's been years since I shopped there. I shouldn't have waited so long. The personal service from this local business was outstanding. They understood exactly what I was looking for and offered to make it for me! With the help of the staff, I selected a beautiful glistening 14k white gold chain and a simple 14k white gold cross. We determined the placing of the cross and even added an extra loop in the back to allow two length options for the necklace. It is beautiful and it's exactly what I wanted. The price was as I would have expected, nothing more. And they did it in ONE DAY because they knew I had to mail it to Dallas to get to my daughter in time for her birthday.
