2022 Update - Issue still persists. Last time I was here myself and several customers were waiting for mobile orders to be prepared. A customer walked in, ordered at the register, and had their drink prepared right away. A customer made a comment to staff about this, and employee responded they're short staffed. What does being short staffed have to do w/ disorganization of preparing orders? If several customers for mobile orders are waiting, prepare theirs first, than take and prepare new orders at the register.
Customers already at the store should have their mobile orders prioritized.
I arrived today a few minutes ahead of my estimated pickup time. I was the only customer waiting for a mobile. After ~5 minutes I asked barista if they can check on my order...was told they'll get to it because they're very busy.
I understand it's fair to go in order of which they receive...but if a customer is already at the store (and is the only one waiting), doesn't it make sense to prepare their order before preparing order's of customer's who haven't reached? Especially when it's an easy order that only takes ~30 seconds to prep?
Some barista's at this location are great and see me waiting, ask my name / order, and prep mine so I don't have to wait. So giving 3...
Read moreRich (or so he said was his name) heavier, older gentleman, is an absolute unpleasant person with every interaction I’ve had with him. I watched him have a dispute right in front of me before making my simple order overly complicated. I ordered a tall milk no ice, for my son. And I literally got “just milk? Whole milk? You want it cold? No coffee with it? Again and again I repeated just a plain tall whole milk no ice, clearly aggravated by this point to which he giggled and said this is just unusual unless it’s for a kid Like who do you think you are to speak with someone like that. I told him it was for my kid. I was livid by this point, and he said well you didn’t say that. As if I should have to. Literally the third time I’ve had an interaction similar to this one with him. Hi The guy I front of me he kept accusing of jumping the line. The guys said I would never do that, the girls before wasn’t ready to order and they let him go ahead. Then Rich said, oh I don’t know you so I don’t know what you’d do. Like how is that acceptable an acceptable conversation. Get it together rich, your attitude...
Read moreA few days ago I ordered Eggwhites. It came back partially cooked and frozen in the center. My friend ordered the same thing. She was able to reorder hers and employees cooked her food longer. I also requested the same. I was given horrible service from employees giving each other attitude to me being snapped at. Due to food allergies, I am unable to eat anything else. Manager/Assistant Manager didn’t acknowledge me and the cashier was reluctant to refund me my monies. I have never experienced this type of not only disrespect but horrible service. This isn’t the first time this happened at this specific location.
Also, I provided the cashier with my name (ie spelled my name for her) and when my food came out I was called by a different name that isn’t relevantly close to the spelling of my name. The cashier had written my name as Mei rather than Bea. Hillsborough Starbucks, please educate your employees about writing names that one may think based on their ethnicity. Other people may take this as...
