Iโ€™m deeply disappointed by my recent experience at The Store in Holladay, Utah. Iโ€™ve been a loyal customer for years, but today, I was met with unexpected rudeness when I tried to return an item I purchased just the day before. What left me speechless was the sudden change in their return policyโ€”right in front of me, as if it were entirely acceptable to alter the rules to avoid honoring a return. Itโ€™s disheartening to see a business treat a customer with such disregard, especially when the issue could have been resolved with a simple, courteous exchange. The lack of professionalism displayed here has made me question whether my loyalty was ever valued. I will certainly be reconsidering where I choose to shop in the future. The employee in question, a young man named Sam chose to embarrass me in front of for other employees rather than simply honoring their return policy. I had my receipt and the purchase was made just the day before. Knowing upfront that I might need to return the items I purchased because it was for an event that might be canceled. I actually asked when I made the purchase and the person I originally spoke to on the day of the purchase said I had 15 days to return any items...

I have been coming here since 1979. It has changed ownership several times over the decades but the quality has always stayed consistent. They have a wonderful selection of in-store prepared food items that they create. Their potato and macaroni salads along with their BBQ, is second to none! Be aware though that the products carried here can be exorbitantly higher priced than your average market. I was looking for a summer dessert of Key Lime Pie. The only Marie Callendars pie variety they had in-stock was pumpkin? (Who eats pumpkin pie in August?) The only other kind they had was almost $30! (Hard Pass). I can safely assume it wasn't flown in from Key West in Florida. Needless to say I opted for the Beehive brand Chocolate Creme they carried which was good. The store is immaculate. But don't come here shopping on a budget. You are paying for higher-end selection and location convenience. Which is completely their prerogative. After all, they have been here for decades so they know what they are doing and they do it right. I know when I visit I won't be pinching pennies. Overall, I love...

The customer service is what gives this store a 1. I called prior to driving from Herriman for a specific item, the young girl who answered the phone assured me I did not have to have her put it on hold because there was "tonz" of the item. When I asked are you sure she was adamant it would not be needed. I then proceeded to drive to the Store and upon my arrival the item was gone. Then at the cash register I explained this to the mgr who really didn't care just said oh and then went on talking to someone else. I was then asked if I had a phone number registered with them I said no the clerk then just continued scanning my items. So I then asked what the phone number was for and she proceeded to look at me like a deer in the headlights and so I asked again and she said "oh it's to get discounts" so I replied well shouldn't I be signing up then she just shrugged her shoulders then once I paid said oh give me your phone number. I hope they do some customer service training in this place and hopefully the salt lake store will be...

We were recently invited again to The Store in Cottonwood Heights and decided to make a post-date-night outing out of it โค๏ธ. We hadn't explored much of it before but this time around we were able to check out the magazine-cover-quality perfectly neat produce section, tie-dye bagels, and ample pie selection, too! W/our gift card we got a few treats that we hadn't seen elsewhere in UT and we were even given a free bottle of Spring City waterโ€“this place carries a lot of unique products! We look forward to our next trip: we always discover something new here!

Visited The Store for the first time this weekend and it was amazing. It's a lovely little grocery store that had all of the brands I am already familiar with and tons of local brands too. We had delicious cookies (oatmeal raisin and s'mores), winder eggnog, and freshly squeezed orange juice (we squeezed it ourselves with a rad machine!). We also got a beautifully designed bottle of local Spring City spring water that's tastes great and it so pretty (local it artists! Woo!). It was a great visit and I can't wait to go back!

It felt like I had taken a trip back in time. In a very good way! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š This smaller grocery store was clean, well organized and had everything I needed. I was impressed with all of the different departments! I purchased some smoked boneless chicken thighs. Cut them up in pieces and served them over rice. Yum! What a great place! Stop by and take a trip back in time when smaller towns had independently owned well ran grocery stores. ๐Ÿ‘
