This is an Antichrist church. This is not Christianity, this is false religion. This church is worldly, ungodly, disrespectful to God, and unfaithful to the Bible. I fail for words to describe how dangerous this church is for new believers and I pray against this satanic institution in the name of Christ.
When I visited this church they were playing Lynyrd Skynyrd and other secular rock songs before the service. They threw out a beach ball and bounced it around during "worship." The music is devoid of the Spirit and is so loud it is uncomfortable. They sing the typical theologically void and empty Christian songs that you would hear on the radio.
They offered a plate of pancakes free to someone in the congregation. They cleared the floor and used kids with their BMX bikes to perform tricks while the fake pastor tried to correlate it into how the Holy Spirit works.
The fake pastor wears shorts and flip flops during the service. Utterly disgraceful to God and heaven. This guy lacks any theological depth and does not know how to rightly divide the Word of truth. He cannot preach, he cannot teach, and does not use a Bible while on stage (you will never see this guy with a Bible). He does not know how to develop a biblical sermon and instead, turns his messages into pep talks. He fails with his analogies which are not convicting nor convincing.
I warn all who are considering a visit to this church to stay away from here. This place will shipwreck your faith. This fake church in no way represents true biblical Christianity. In fact, what this fake church is doing is deceiving people into believing they are saved by making them feel inclusive and feeding their emotions. STAY AWAY FROM...
Read moreThis is a great church for anyone that wants to have a close relationship with God. As their mission statement goes "come as you are" is really practiced here. I have been attending this church for more than 2.5 years, and love it. Everyone who serves in any of its ministries are very loving people with the desire to help you and support you in your walk with Christ. They have 4 different bands that are on a rotating schedule every week. They also have different production teams. And it is just nice to see them all volunteering their time and using their talents to serve God in leadership at K2.
They have different meeting groups that will support you regardless where you are in your journey with Christ. They have:
Encounter: a group of 20's and 30's people that meets every Tuesday Life together groups: There are several groups throughout the valley that you can join, whichever is closest to you. This group will like eventually become your family, as you will notice, you will create a family of brothers and sister in Christ in any group or anyone that you meet at K2. They have also different classes throughout the year that you can join.
From lead pastor- Dave Nelson, Music director -Mike Rut, Production -Trudi, Kat, and Garret, and to everyone on leadership roles at K2 will welcome you with open arms. These people always put all their heart to serve God and also lead others to God in each of their respective leadership positions. If you are looking to visit K2 for the first time, I recommend you to talk to any of these people. They are...
Read moreA stack of reviews cannot begin to describe the fantastic church that is K2, you really just must experience it for yourself! That said, this is an absolutely fantastic non-denominational Christian church. An amazing pastoral team approaches the Bible in a relatable and engaging manner. Centrally located in a modern structure, the environment is casual, modern and come-as-you-are. The children and youth programs are the best I've ever seen in the Salt Lake Valley. While there are hundreds of attendees of all ages, cultures, races and expressions, it is a younger crowd than many other non-denom churches in the area. **Note, if you have children ages five and under, plan to arrive 15 mins before services start, as classes and childcare consistently fill to capacity. This is something K2 is...
