Greatly disappointed in our last customer experience! Placed an online order for catering, went into the store to pick up the order on the scheduled day. At the counter the Butchers Market associate told me there was no catering order for that day or under my fiancee's name. Walked me over to the areas within the store that had the items we placed within the order, as this is occurring a member from the back yells "I have the order right here" the associate apologizes for the confusion and bags the order. I ask about payment and the associate tells me the order was online and paid for. I take the order and leave. Later my fiancee calls and states that I did not pick up the order and that the store called stating I did not pick it up. After informing her I did, she called back, and they told us that her the order was not paid for. My Fiancee called back to the store to pay and was disrespected by the manager and told she is banned from the store. I called back and was told lies too by the AGM about how the situation and conversation with my fiancee was handled. Moral of the story is there should NEVER be an instance where confusion on the stores part results in mistreatment of a customer. Especially with a large network, as people we hold ourselves accountable to integrity and would question how we could bag and walkout with an order without the consent of the store! Its disappointing that the store managers do not have integrity and hold themselves accountable to the miss on their part. We will happily not return to any of your stores. I am a combat veteran and prior Drill Sergeant who takes honor and integrity very seriously. Its disappointing to see customer service take a nose dive especially at the management level. Read moreWe recently moved down from NY and have really enjoyed everything we have ever bought from here. So they definitely have returning customer in us already but last night they set that in Stone. I ordered the Valentine's Special and contacted them about a substitute and without any hesitation they took care of it. Well I got home and after opening everything up I noticed that we were missing the Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Not a big deal but something that I was looking forward to surprising the Wife with. I messaged them to let them know and recieved an immediate response asking for my address. 30 min later I got a knock on my door and there were my Strawberries. Talk about great service. I could not believe the incredible service I received from Jeff. I spent some time talking to him and learned a lot about the different products they sell. I cannot wait to try their dry aged burgers.
Best of all, I learned that it is a locally owned business that was started a few years back. I am a huge advocate on supporting our local businesses, especially when they pride on there product and customer service.
The butcher's market won me over and I most certainly will return.
