Tonight! Was the worst experience that I ever had in my life in a restaurant. All I did was get out of work, made an order for me and my child to eat, when I got there to pick up my order, They had just finished taking care of another customer, turn around and walk for way from me. It was several minutes before I was even acknowledged. I was asked my name when I gave my name I was told my order wasn't there. The manager then walked to the back of the store, one of the other associates working says yes, I made his order. I remember that order. Another associate came up to the counter and said oh, that order was already picked up. I need your order number. I Asked her, did you ask the person who picked up the food did you ask them for their order number? She then stated to me yes. And I stated to her, that was a lie because if you had asked them for the order number. I would be going home with my food now. She then turned around and walked away from me and told me that I need to calm down. I said no. Then the store manager came up to me and told me that he is refusing to give me my order that I need to get out of his store. I stated to him I need a refund for the money that I spent, he said is going to call the police on me if I didn't get out of his store. I asked again for my refund. He refused to give me my refund until I called their customer service and put the called on my speaker phone. I asked the store manager for his name. The female associate turn her name tag around and started shaking her head around and around in a circle with her lips poked out. I stated this is the way you treat a customer. She knew I had my phone on speaker and she said the wind blew it around. I never new it was possible for wind to blow a name tag around pinned to someone's appron in a windless building. I frequent Panda Express regularly. This was not my normal location when I go to the Panda Express on Miramar Parkway and 57th Avenue. I am treated like royalty everyone knows who I am when I walk into the store, as im walking in they are already grabbing my order and giving it to me with a smile, heck one time they even made an honest mistake that anyone could make and they didn't give me one of my food items I order. When I called back to that location. They say we know who you are, whenever you're ready to get the item that we didn't give you, stop by anytime and we'll have it for you. That's customer service. That's the way you treat someone. However, the experience that I had at the Hollywood Location on 441. I'll never be a Panda Express customer again. All it takes is one bad experience to change someone's loyalty. Especially when they threaten to take away my freedom all because they gave my order to another individual. The right thing to do would have been to apologize to me and give me my food. Tonight was my last visit to Panda express. I enjoy my freedom and would want anyone to take that away. I've been hearing a lot of good things about Pei Wei. Time for me to see how they...
Read more07/29/2022 - It just keeps getting WORSE, but slightly entertaining. 😏 I waited a few months and gave it another shot.
It's noon and not only are they out of the greens, but they are ALSO out of the mushroom chicken. Something they failed to mention until AFTER I reached the pay window.
Rather than trying to GUESS a replacement, I ask for a menu. But instead, the lady decides to make her musical debut and recite the chicken options, Busta Rhymes style AND with an accent. So ALL I heard was chicken-chicken-chicken and something about sesame street, which had me thinking of Big Bird, reminiscing about my childhood, and having the sudden urge to beatbox. Needless to say, SHE was not happy that I was smiling, bobbing my head and STILL asking for the MENU, 'cause "Whaaaaaat did you say?".
She already had an attitude to start, which didn't make sense because it wasn't MY fault they were out of 2 of the 3 things I ordered AND she missed her calling as a rapper.
After all of that, the food was BLAHHHHHHH, so I'm done with this particular Panda Express. We fall down, but we get up. Y'all fell down and broke your crown. Please just pack it up and move along and hopefully make room for something better. IJS
12/23/2021 - 2 years later and I have to downgrade those stars. They are frequently out of things, especially the greens, by NOON, freaking NOON. And the drive thru wait is sometimes atrocious! Maybe because of COVID, they have sub par management now and no one knows how to order enough to get through half the day. 🤔 Or perhaps they're cutting costs. Either way, it sucks and it's very frustrating.
2019 Original Post - 4 Stars I almost always order the mushroom chicken with brown rice and veggies and occasionally the veggie egg rolls.
The food is pretty good. And Its GREAT that they've added "super greens" to their menu. REALLY like that!
Not sure why they frequently run out of plum sauce though. You'd think after being open for several months, they'd know their consumption rates by now. I guess this involves some type of rocket science that I'm not yet aware of. Totally being a jerk about it right now, I know. But TODAY is "National Be A Jerk About Something Petty Day", so I'm allowed. Enjoy...
Read moreThis is the new normal for this restaurant. My mistake for going back. I got there at 9:30pm on a Friday after researching that they would be open. The internet and the front door says dining room open until 10pm. It was locked. Three employees sitting in there eating. Two employees on the food line looking at me staring blankly. I go to the drive through to sit and waste my gas. I finally get to the ordering box and the lady comes on in some Spanish/English thing that was very hard to understand. I told her I don't know what she said but I want.. and I placed my order. Again, I sat in the car wasting more gas for another 5 or 6 minutes. I pay for my order and get handed a bag. I look at it. Nope, not my food. I question the lady and apparently she only speaks Spanish and Panda Express. The lady looked at me like what is wrong. I told her I was not taking someone else's food. I can hear other employees playing grabass in the restaurant and this drive through worker was wanting to play too. I finally got my food after my server conferenced another lady in Spanish about my food. I know this was all my fault giving them a 2nd chance to make amends. I was wrong. Don't waste your time...
