Be careful not to accidentally park in one of the spots behind the building that is reserved for loading trucks and emergency vehicles.. otherwise an extremely hostile employee of home furnishings will storm towards you as you head back to your car. He’ll meet you right at your car door just in time to reprimand, actually borderline threaten you. “Dont you ever park here again.” “Can you not read the no parking written on the pavement?!” “No sir, not when another car was parked over it.” Honestly, parking there seemed pretty benign, it looked like a line of parallel spots at the back of the building strip for customers to park in. Regardless, I clearly made a mistake and made someone else’s job more difficult by parking there, for which I apologized three times during the tirade. However, this must happen frequently since Mr Home Furnishings was so pissed off. Perhaps instead of insulting someone he should use that energy to better designate that area. Icing on the cake was probably the fact that I beat the tow truck that he called. I’m commenting because I can’t remember the last time a stranger has been so rude, and made me feel uneasy for a few hours afterwards. I guess I was just the last straw for this person, but I hope this serves as a reminder to be more conscious of the treatment of others.

Read moreBuyer beware! Very disappointed with a dining room table we selected and were about to purchase. Once the table was cleared of the items on display there was a very noticeable gash down the center of the table. On top of that, once the table was extended the leafs didn’t match the grain of the table itself. The sales rep was very nonchalant as if it wasn’t a big deal. His suggestion was that he could “knock off a few dollars” and that it came in that way (with the gash) and should’ve been sent back and that the manufacturer didn’t make the leafs to match. We’ve purchased several pieces of furniture from At Home in the past. This experience was disappointingly different from our...
Read moreGreat selection. Abundant staff. Really nice pieces. This would be a five-star except for a pretty strong critique; there is something missing in their service culture-- ultimately, the staff are all about completing transactions and not about creating relationships and solutions leave customers happy and looking forward to coming back. In other words, make sure your furniture is not scratched, the price you are paying is the stated price, that you have a clear plan for getting the furniture from the showroom floor to your house. Expect no real advice on logistics, and not even any suggestions about whether a particular piece is a good idea or not a good...
