Wow. That is how I can describe my experience at Chung's Alignment & Auto Services. I came across this business after I found my car failed its safety inspection due to some serious mechanical issues. My car needed immediate attention as a result, and to make matter worse, my car's safety inspection was good for the end of the month and the dealership said it would take at least a week for the parts to come in. Plus, the dealership gave me a hefty quote for all of the repairs they "recommended" to me. I was baffled, the quote came out to almost half of the car's value.

Not only did Chung's took me in literally at the last minute, the shop owner, Chung Tu, wrote to me via email that the quote was quite high and he was skeptical that my car needed that many repair. He offered to take me in the next morning after my car failed its safety inspection, and he pointed out the mechanical issues and the severity for each one. We were able to hone in on the necessary fixes, which ended up slashing the quoted repair cost by 40%. On top of that, he threw in a 15% discount and he had my car readied by the end of that day.

Called for brake flush/diagnostic. Brakes pedal felt "soft/mushy". Told to come down at 1:00. Arrived 12:55. Was told they would call me with estimate. Waited 1hr, no call. Came back and waited. at 2:30. Still haven't looked at my car yet. 3:00, asked when they might me able to look at my car. Was told that they were almost done with a 4runner brake job (that car was already there when I got there at 1:00) and it would be after that. 4:20, 4runner still being worked on. Shop closes at 5:30. I left because I know enough to see that the 4runner on the lift wasn't going to be done in 15-20 minutes, most likely not leaving enough time to see, no less, work on my car.

Awesome and excellent friendly service. always take his time to listen to customer detail about repair. And chung always provide with great advice and solutions. Pretty much DIY all maintenance for all my cars and small fixed. I've been coming to chung's mostly for wheel alignment and go to repairs, (if i could'nt do it my self.) today I had a slight brake issue on my van rear pads and chung recomended to just change it.(rotors and pads.) Quoted me with great resonable price for top quality rotors and pads that are made for my driving habit. since i do have slotted rotors on my minivan, I will be needed two tires soon. Chung's provide me again with very very reasonable great price on a XL not SL well known tire brand (Bf goodrich) I was impressed with his price compared to other shop on the island.
