This location is the only Foodland within a 20 mile radius, the only stand alone location within the Honolulu Metro area. The other Foodland Stores are built within 2 new shopping complexes, 1 in Kahala & 1 in the Ala Moana shopping center EWA wing. Foodland was able to use this opportunity to introduce the Foodland Farms concept to consumers. A variety of other well know industry giants were offered upgrades to there spaces & relocated to the new & improved wing, to showcase what there version of leveling up looks like.

I’ve heard of the poke from this place but never had it. Went in and asked for a sample of each flavor and the lady was super nice about it. The poke was amazing, so good and only $8 for one selection with rice! Man what a steal I would really recommend this place for a quick snack that is relatively healthy and hearty! I got the Spicy Ahi my bro got the spicy Maui.

Foodland is the only solely locally owned supermarket in Hawaii. They’re known to have better poke than other supermarket chains. This store is conveniently located in a small shopping center with fast foods, an office supply store, Korean & Local food places, a big thrift store, and more. Friendly staff.

The rudest teller I’ve ever met since I was migrated in Hawaii Oahu for more than 10 years. I am a valued customer of Foodland since then. I was actually participating in a survey from time to time but I was surprised when this lady named Anna Lyn was the one who assisted me for sending money through Western Union was very rude, usually the crew that I’ve was very nice,

This happened last 6/23/24. I was in line when she’s available and called me as next customer, when I was in front of her I told her I will be sending money to Philippines she said I need your ID first! so I gave her my ID, how much you will be sending? Your phone number?(I have it ready written up on a piece of paper including the name of a person I will be sending and I gave it to her and the amount of money I will send) She gave me the paper and said could you verify is this correct?(the print out)I told her no, I have her change my address because that’s my old one. She said your number still the same that’s why your address the one that shown, I told her the correct address is this one on my ID, She grab the print out and told me this is wrong, right?(the print out and rip it)she printed a new one and was handed it to me to check it again, while she’s handed it over to me, I asked her how much is the peso rate, she told me why you cannot read it, I was just wanted to know how much but she rudely told me to read it. I told her you could be nice to your customer, she said, I didn’t say anything bad. I told her I wanted to write a review or survey about it and she told me, okay...

This is my favorite Foodland.. although get plenty people that look unhoused and small kine- scary, it’s my favorite store ! The employees are kind and make conversation—- not grouchy—🥸 I try to be kind to everyone as we do not know what battles they may be going through…🙏🏽 ) I Returned expired MAIKAI’ PECANS… Purchased 10/27/2022– expired 11/2/2022 ..Customer service RHALIEN ( sp? ) was so professional and kind. He advised me to go get another fresher one.. upon walking towards the rack , all the OLD PECANS were STILL THERE !! I brought them up to the customer service trying to be helpful, lol. Again, RHAILEN was humble and accommodating, processed my refund, and apologized, sincerely..😇

Please give this wonderful young man a raise !!! … and some...

Why does foodland on dillingham always raise their prices when the food stamps come at the beginning of the month but wen food stamp users have stopped shopping then they lower the prices. I shopped at foodland bought @ $170.00 worth of food then i bought that same amount at walmart and went home with triple the amount of food from walmart than foodland. Foodland has just gotten outrageous with their prices... But what i just dont understand is why they hike their prices up for the first 2 wks of the month knowing people with snap are shopping and its barely enough to last the month and with those hiked up prices maybe...
