AT&T Store — Local services in Hood River

Had such an awful experience that I have to share it. Spend over close to an hour waiting to get help from the manager in place Josh. At first he was helping a customer, and of course that is fine. I expected I would get the same treatment as that customer, but I was wrong. After helping them with the issue he literally took over 15 mins just talking to the customer over random stuff. To the point where even the customer seemed a bit uncomfortable, and he saw us waiting. Anyways after that his assistant who went to lunch and then came back which was close to an hour, not sure how long there lunch is but whatever. I asked to get my phone line transfered to a prepaid line and that's when Josh told me in a very rude tone, that they didn't provide that service and it was unheard of. Keep in mind I was being super polite and this is the first thing this manager says to me after us being there a whole hr and half... not acknowledging us till now and this is what he said.. so of course I get online and find what I am looking and guess what It says that they provide that service and that what I am requesting for its possible. I shared thay with the manager and he again responds in a rude tone an says that's not true and again doesn't acknowledge me. I have never experienced such an awful experience and I can only imagine how many other people are going through this. Seriously super bad customer experience especially comming from the manager running the store. I would be very concerned if this is the type of people representing the store.

I wanted the iPhone SE 2nd Gen 128G phone, and this store had 3 in stock (everywhere else I checked required a back order). The customer rep Octavio did an excellent job helping me migrate my data from my old phone to my new SE, and he shared tips to take advantage of features that are new to me. He got me a great deal on both the phone and a charging pad- both are working great. Octavio is professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The staff at this location is exceptional. I have been with quite a few phone companies and have even switched from AT&T before. I walked into this store and was greeted and showed many different options. Throughout the process they were kind, caring and helped me find the best fit for what i was looking for. The knowledge the store employees had was great. I would strongly suggest that you do business with AT&T and if your local i would say to go to this specific store as well.
