What a joke, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!. The amount of ignorance and incompetence from the person I worked with was rediculous. The whole experience of buying a ring for my fiancee was absolutely awful. Told the salesman that the only way to contact me was via email because of bad service at my house and I was told he made a note of it to ensure that I would be emailed when the custom ordered ring arrived. Outcome was that they "tried" to call my phone 1 time and that was it. They allowed my ring to sit there waiting for over a month and never emailed me. On top of that I had tried to go in once to make a payment while waiting for the ring to arrive (not knowing it was there already) and was told I couldn't make a payment as well as no one could give me any updates or info on the ring because the sales person I worked with wasn't there..... when I finally go back again to complain that we are past the time it was supposed to take to get the ring and that no one has emailed me, they tell me my ring had been there almost 2 months. I begin to voice my disappointment with them and how they have ruined this once in a lifetime experience for me and the manager asks "what can we do to make this right?" I respond to her with "what are you able to do to make this right? Because this is 100% unacceptable" the manager just sits there and doesn't say a word as if I didn't just ask what she could do to make this right. I will never return to a Jared anywhere to purchase anything and will ensure that I pass this story along to everyone I know in hopes of saving them from this greif. Maybe someone in corporate will actually read this and try to make this right because this located did nothing to right their wrongs and mistakes. And on top of all of this, 1 day after receiving the ring and giving it to my fiancee there is already 1 of the small diamonds that has fallen out and because of my experience their I don't even want to go back in to try and use the warranty. Spend over $6000 for no real service and a ring that falls apart after a day.
UPDATE* after posting this the corporate got involved and seemed to be the only people trying to make this situation right. They have done a few things to make the over all experience not as bad as it was. At least they have a decent corporate...
   Read moreWe went to Jared today to purchase a gift for my 16year old daughter. My husband and I decided on a Pandora bracelet gift set and purchased additional charms for the set. The gift set included several charms and earrings. When we went to check out, the manager could not get the promotional price correct and gave several prices that didnât match what we were purchasing. Finally, she said that the reason the price was different is because the earrings were not included in the set. They showed me a Pandora catalog that had the earrings included and tried to convince me that they were not. The manager then made a huge (fake) show of yelling to the other associates to remove the earrings that âarenât includedâ in the gift set from the promotional displays on the floor. At this point out of frustration I paid for my purchase and left. Once I got home, I called several places and Pandora themselves who confirmed the earrings are included in the set. I returned to the store and low and behold, the same promotional display had the earrings included again, despite the manager fake yelling at her associates....Because the manager knew they were included and lied to me. She charged me the full price but did not provide what I paid for. I called her out on it and returned my purchase. I then got the exact same set, with earrings, $70 cheaper at Reeds Jewelry. I will NEVER shop at Jaredâs again. Ever. I only gave a star...
   Read moreTaking back all my stars that I gave them! This place has changed for the worst! They have new employees and a new manager that is not at all friendly! We took some pieces in to get new batteries and a ring that the stone came out of. It is going on a month and we had not hear back about the watches. So I called today to check on them and "The Manager" tells if I haven't had a call from them then they are not ready. I asked could you check to make sure they haven't. I'm the manager I check everything in and I haven't checked any watches in, in several weeks!! Rudely towards me! Her whole attitude was harsh even the way she answered the phone. You know she could have easily said let me double check on it to make sure. But no she didn't even offer! I know when we do get our stuff back we will be paying off our account and N.E.V.E.R. shop with Jared's again! That use to be a good store to shop at. As you can see I praised them the last time. This time I take my stars back and wouldn't tell anyone to shop there!
