Went to purchase items with a voucher that I had earned on a previous transaction. The voucher was worth 50% of my total that day, but when I got to the register, the computer said it had already been used at a store in another state two days before. Very rushed employee refused to help me figure out the problem, just told me to call the credit department and sent me away. I would not have been there at all except for that credit voucher, because even "sale" prices at Kohl's are often too high for my budget. I have had several bad experiences at the two stores in my area.
Coupons and discount vouchers are short-lived and intentionally confusing, and try to bait customers into shopping every week, which turns out wasting money instead of saving it. Returns are often a hassle, and the associates in the stores are rarely pleasant.
Update: Raised rating from 1 to 3 stars after the store manager replied to a survey that I completed online. He apologized and offered me the opportunity to come back and get a credit for the amount of my invalidated coupon. I am happy with his responsiveness and the resolution offered. It's too late to salvage my loyalty, and I won't go back, but at least the manager can see when someone has a problem, and he wants to do something about it. Hopefully things will get better for other customers and all those unhappy...
Read moreTonight after shopping at this location a worker was basically following me and my two children and literally readjusted every item I touched and moved it around to a different location within the rack. At one point while putting the item away she was mumbling something under her breathe loud enough for me and my children to hear. She also walked passed my son and gave him a very mean look.
This happen about three times before I finally said something to her. I kindly yet forwardly let her know she was making me feel extremely uncomfortable as a customer. She raised her voice and said she was doing her job and that my son should not be touching anything. I proceeded to tell her that if her doing her job is at the expense of a customer feeling uncomfortable with their kids in the store or as a customer shopping I’m sure she’s misinterpreted her job description somehow.
This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially when a worker decides to go out of their way to not only make a customer feel uncomfortable but to make a person’s children feel uncomfortable and see a worker raising their voice at their parent. Not only do you not talk that way to customers you also don’t make children feel unsafe by raising your voice to...
Read moreThe problem started after I got a message to pickup part of my order at the store 60 miles away when I ordered it to be shipped to my address. But it didn't end there I finally received my Kohl's box at my address. I was so excited, that was short lived to my surprise it was nothing I have ordered. However my invoice was included. So my excitement turned to disbelief. So I travel the sixty miles to the store after a twelve hour shift to be even more disappointed. I picked up the package and couldn't exchange what was in the box for what was on my invoice. But was told it would deliver on the 26th,which a while after some of the items was needed for. So I cancelled the order and was told the refund would be back on my card in seven to ten business days, but only take minutes to get off. Wow Now the worst serve...
