DO NOT ORDER HERE THROUGH CARRY OUT!!! WAITED 45MIN FOR NOTHING, AN HOUR AFTER LOOSING A LOVED ONE. This location is a very unprofessional environment with staff who do not care nor pay attention to handing out the wrong bags to paying customers. 1 hour after finding out my grandmother passed away, In a rush to the hospital to collect her items and be there for my family I thought it would be quickest to order through carry- out and bring breakfast to my family. I waited for over 45min, and tried to inquire about my order several times with separate workers. A worker proceeded to lie to me several times about the status of my order (young dark skin black girl with long ponytail) She told me something different each time I asked about my order. Very unhelpful, nonchalant and had a bad attitude. Another worker in the same area proceeded to have no urgency with checking on my food, brushed me off and had a bad attitude as well. (older white lady with short hair) This is not the energy I expect to receive at chickflia on a morning that was already hard for me. Once I spoke to a separate employee who did not work in the area and that’s when I was informed that my order was apparently sold a long time ago, and there was no way to retrieve my order since breakfast ended. The two employees working in this area showed no interest, asked no follow up questions or apologized for anything!!! Instead of being with my family in immediate time of a passing, and bringing everyone food, I wasted 45 minutes in chickflia and left with nothing!! After this encounter I immediately cried in the carry - out area and that’s when a manger approached me and asked if I wanted a lunch item. At that point I needed to leave and couldn’t wait any longer. This is not how I wanted my morning to turn out after loosing a family member. I’m extremely...
Read morePretty disappointing as a huge Chick-fil-A fan… been in the drive through line for 25 minutes trying to get breakfast on a Monday morning and I’m still not out. This is the slowest moving Chick-fil-A line I’ve ever been in, especially at a newer location. There’s only one lane open and no physical people outside to take orders- all orders are going through the speaker box. Thank God I don’t have to be at work and work from home today. I’m so grateful that the Hoover Commons location is the one closest to me and our normal Chick-fil-A spot. Geez- just got my food and there was no apology for the wait or anything. I guess it’s normal for breakfast to move that slow here?
After taking more time to read through other reviews to make sure I’m not giving them a poor rating for just a one-off situation, I see that most of the recent negative reviews are about long lines and waits. The owner response seems to more or less dismiss it, though, and even defend it saying the person came at a busy time/a Saturday or whatever. Like, it just is what it is. Being in Customer Relations and over 2 large retail stores in the area, I’d just suggest that feedback like this should be seen as an opportunity to understand your customers and improve, not to basically just tell them to deal with it or to adjust their own day around Chick-fil-A’s schedule, or even to get the app. Businesses have to adjust and adapt to their customer’s needs, not the other way around. A 30min wait in the drive through or inside isn’t acceptable for any fast food chain or location, no matter the time of day, so it’s not something to defend or brush off. It’s something to fix. Other extremely busy Chick-fil-A locations have figured it out, so it’s not just because it’s a Saturday or a “busy...
Read moreTo start off, I ‘d like to say that I am the type of person to believe it’s impossible to have a bad experience at Chick Fil A. Unfortunately today at The Grove Chick Fil A I had the single worst experience I’ve ever had at a chick fil a. We were briefly greeted by the first team member, and we placed two separate orders. The driver of the vehicle intended to pay with a card and I would pay with my app. The team member scanned my app and we were told to pay with the card at the tent around the corner. Upon reaching the second team member in the tent, the driver handed his card but the team member insisted he needed to scan my app again. He then told us that the card payment could be taken at the window. When we arrived at the window I realized I had been charged for both orders and we were not given receipts. The members at the window were unable to pull up our orders on the register despite having the food ready at the window. Charging both order’s on the app was a minor inconvenience but I was frustrated at the incompetent staff. I explained It was fine to charge both orders to the app and that we would sort out later. At this point the staff was so confused that they froze and could not determine whether the orders were paid for. We sat at the window for several minutes until finally a team member with some sense was able to pull the order details and handed us our food. It seems like this chick fil a is not motivated to being efficient. The process was very disorganized and despite thanking each of the team members along the way, none of which responded with “my pleasure.” I will make it a point to avoid this Chick Fil A...
