2000 Nail Studio — Local services in Houston

So I wasn’t gonna do a review bc they customer service was great but after paying almost $100 for service and the service didn’t even last 24 hours.. so let’s start from the beginning- I use to come here a lot a few years ago and I ALWAYS had something wrong with my nails. So I stopped going here.- but now I’ve moved back over to this side of town and thought I’d give them another chance. And initially I was happy but after 2 days my whole toe nail polish came off(shellac) then the next day my big toe nail broke.. ok so a few days later I come back and they fix my toes no problem but also add a full set, lashes, and eye brows.. my eyebrows are great, nails are decent but my lashes came OFF THE NEXT DAY!!! I’m out of town tryna buy some lashes bc they didn’t do their job. They also used the .79 lashes 747xs like what’s the point of that?!?!? And they used hair glue to apply my lashes. I definitely will be seeking a refund and never do business here. I guess you get what...

Customer Service 5/5: I went in and they were very quick in greeting me and immediately took care of me without any wait time. The lady who did my nails was funny and kind.

Pricing 5/5: For a short full set they listed $30 but charged $35, which is still cheaper than most places. They tried to sell pedicure and other services, which was nice cause they offered discounts.

Actual Service -1/5: She burnt me three times with the automatic filer which I didn’t even know it was possible. I jumped and pulled my hand away and she repeatedly did it. She was in some sort of a hurry. The nails were very untidy and uncomfortable. She went over my skin on the sides and felt like I’m wearing stones on my nails. I have never gotten such a bad and ugly looking nails. The whole point of getting your nails done is for it to look neat and presentable.

I am a regular customer of this shop for 2 years! Besides the price is very affordable. Tim is amazing! Since he did my nails, i will never look for someone except Tim, i will always wait for him no matter what! He is very detailed. His workmanship is very fine, very neat! He is very good with gel manicure, nail extensions, Dip powder, no matter what you like, he is very artistic and makes your nails fancier! I’ve been through a lot of nail salon for the past years, since we (me and my cousins) met Tim, we will drive all the way to the shop to do our nails. He is the best! Try him and you will never regret! Rating him 10/10! Tips: make appointments with him during week days, he is highly in demand for Saturdays. 😊 Apparently, he is not working on Sundays.
