Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Houston

Horrible experience, we went last Tuesday and they forgot 6 tacos… no big deal the order was about $30… It was late and they were very busy. When we got home I called and told the person that was in the drive-through about the missing food. She told me to come back and get it but at that point it was almost midnight I told her we will be back the following day or soon as I could. I go back today they said there’s nothing they can do no message was passed along the young man at the window brought the manager over she was extremely rude essentially accusing me of being dishonest. Saying she couldn’t take my word. I wasn’t given any receipt I wasn’t given any other information besides the other persons name. I gave the manager the persons name she said she couldn’t take my word and there was nothing she could do. I said so do I need to come back when she’s here, she said now that’s even if she was she couldn’t give you that food anyways. Then became upset closes the window mid sentence and started cussing and yelling not to me but clearly talking about me to the whole team that was there working. I asked the young man and the window for her name but I’m sure was scared to even say her name the way she acting, and hand me my food and closed the window. She seemed to be more upset about the situation than I was. When I was the one who was screwed out of the money. I won’t be back to that jack. Today is New Years Day, 2024. I ordered around 1:55am or so. From the looks of it, they are short staffed. I gave grace and didnt complain when the kind gentleman working the drive thru asked me to pull around after paying. There were 3 other cars in front of mine waiting for their food. So yes, you order, pay at the window and then drive around to the side door and the gentleman brings out the food. Not the safest thing to do at almost 2am but whatever. From what I could see, there were only two employees. There could have been more... idk. I get ALL THE WAY HOME to find out my jumbo jack with cheese had NO MEAT. How the heck does that even happen? I could see if my cheese was missing but my meat????? I have never in my life had this happen. Waiting 12 mins or so for my food and to get home and I have a doggone veggie burger.... I’ve run into multiple issues regarding online orders and being told they didn’t receive them despite providing proof of the confirmation and order date + time. Please fix this because then the employees threaten that they will not make the order because they supposedly don’t receive them when I am providing proof and it isn’t my fault that the system isn’t working-…… the courteous thing would be to make it or at least give a refund..

Edit: It happened again today. I’m tired of having to fight with your employees( the store manager at that) and providing confirmation just for them to refuse to make my food. Supposedly he handed off my order to someone else when mind you I order the same thing every Saturday and its always me who goes so I don’t know how that happened.
