Andy hair salon — Local services in Houston

I went to Andy based on a recommendation. I showed him a couple pictures of layered bobs, and he started cutting, then said, Really you need short hair. He explained about my problems in hair texture due to years of highlighting, and how a short cut would take away the broken hair, and be flattering and easy to style. He showed me a picture of what he had in mind - a pixie that's long on top for height and volume - and I showed him a couple pictures of short cuts I like, and what I did NOT like, and then I let him do his thing. What REALLY impressed me was when he had the haircut "done", then he spent another 15 minutes going through it and through it again with the scissors, and explained it was because some parts of my hair were thicker than others and he was making it look even throughout. In essence he took the cookie-cutter haircut it could have been and made it look just right for me. My hair now has so many styling options and looks good messy right out of bed. Me: I got a haircut, but the guy Andy cuts as he likes and gets upset if I tell him to cut another way that I like. My professional hairstylist friend said: ahaha! thats awful! a stylist needs to have enough confident within themselves to not get offended and need to know how personal and important a haircut can be for a person and need to respect the clients how they feel and how they want their hair to be. Me: ATTENTION!!! You will not get a personal or professional haircut here. Very bad customer service!!!! Never ever going back. Also if you are late or change the appointment time, Andy becomes angry, but if he is late or he changes appointment time it is okay. Unfair and terrible...

Waiting for 3 hours and the person keep telling me soon ? I see him playing on the phone and don’t want to cut my hair ! Nice services!
