All the employees were soooo sweet. There was a big selection of brands and products. They carried skincare products that I can usually only find online. I feel like imported k beauty products tend to be highly marked up and overpriced, but everything was pretty fairly priced for buying in person instead of from online shops, though it is definitely cheaper to shop for skincare and cosmetics online. They also had a sale going for 20% off all skincare and other small sales. While looking at makeup, an older (like middle aged) woman that worked there was organizing them and telling my friend and I which products were currently popular/trending in Korea. When we were checking out they gave us a bunch of free testers and a free face mask and the woman came up and told the cashier to make sure she gave me a sample for a lip product because we were talking to her about them by the makeup. The cashier was also very friendly and holding a conversation/joking around with me when we were at the front of the store before we even checked out. An employee came to check on us like 10 minutes after weâd entered the store and offered assistance if we needed but didnât hover. The store overall has a very comfortable vibe. I didnât feel rushed or pressured to make quick decisions which is not my strong suit. I will definitely return in the future for skincare and cute keychains!...
Read moreThe biggest problem I had with this store was the 2 employees/owners. They kept following us around the store and giving us dirty looks while speaking to each other in a different language, and they were also recording and taking pictures of us "discreetly". After we GAVE THEM BUSINESS and left the store, an employee ran after us out of the store and accused us of stealing (she saw me opening my bag and assumed I was stealing when I was just trying to get my phone) and asked to see inside of my bag. After she saw that I didn't steal anything, she didn't apologize for making such an accusation, but instead just walked back into the shop. We almost called the cops but decided not to since weâre never coming back anyway. Besides the unprofessional actions, the store was very hot due to the amount of people in it and the lack of air conditioning; the store also smelled very bad. And another thing, if you don't plan on spending more than $10, don't buy anything because, for some reason, they have a 50¢ transaction fee if your purchase is under $10 and you're paying with a card. The rude and racist workers also weren't...
Read moreExtremely rude staff at this store. It's just unbelievable how different they treat customers who are not of the same race as them. They pick and choose who they will help. I came in and a bit after my friend came in who is Hispanic. I was looking at something, when Andrea texted me she was coming into the store. The ladies were so awful to her. She came in and looked at a display- she did not touch anything and was mostly looking and texting on her phone. I watched as you racist women talked about her and proceeded to go over to her, watch her and rudely answer her question with such short answers. I understood everything and told you to treat your customers with respect! Without us you wouldn't have a business. How dare you!? Just put up a sign already saying "if you don't look like us don't come in". Disgraceful. Your overpriced and your products are probably expired anyway or knock Offs. Just spend your money somewhere else. Why pay to be disrespected and talked down to. The audacity. Shop from STYLEVANA instead. Cheaper, authentic and great customer service no matter what you look like or...
