Bayou City Photography by Scott Holleman — Local services in Houston

On Thursday, July 17, 2025, I was in no mood to have a picture taken of my ugly mug. But it was necessary for a project. My wonderful wife, Janel, accompanied me to save Scott from my grumpy old man demeanor. Those two got along great.

Scott, however, having worked the real theater, knew how to handle people who shouldn't be in public by themselves. He was a spectacular stand-up comic, making fun of me until we had an enjoyable back and forth session of jabs at yours truly. Before the painful session was over, he brought out the best in my personality. It was fun, actually. I just hate having my non curb appeal face in a picture. It's bad enough looking in the mirror.

I did not even glance at the 100 or so shots. He and Janel chose the one shot to print.
