Well to start with I ordered a double meat combo with fries and the drink. The young lady at the register informed me no fountain drinks all drinks in a bottle that's problem number 1 number two I ask for mustard and mayo on my burger but she was pushing this special sauce they have so I agreed only if they put it on the side but I told her I still wanted mustard and mayo on my burger. She then told me that they don’t offer mustard, mayo, and told me to hold on and she went and looked and come back and said yes she could put mustard and mayo on my burger that was x number two. So I told her to just give me the double meat, burger and fries with no drink because I didn’t like the drink in the bottle. She said OK for a double meat burger with fries came out to $22 and some change that’s Ludacris, but I was still willing to pay that because it was a black owned business and I wanted to try their burgers. I handed her my money and she told me the only way she could take my money is if I had exact change I was done from there! So I feel like they might have great food, but they are not all the way set up to do business. Everyone don’t want to use a credit card or debit card. They might wanna pay cash. They don’t offer the right condiment for the food. They push their own sauce and individuals are different. They might not want the sauce. They might want the basic ketchup, mustard or mayo so I give this place two stars. I think $22 and change for a burger and fries with no bacon is Ludacris especially in this neighborhood that’s my opinion and that’s...

Look… I haven’t posted a food review in a while but this right here is my COMEBACK. Houston’s newest burger spot, Boos Burgers in Eado, and let me tell you — it’s worth talking about.

First time I pulled up, I went with the OG Boo Burger. Solid. Hit all the right notes. But you know me, I wanted more… so a week later I came BACK and ordered the Double. And man… that’s when I knew this place was the REAL DEAL. 🔥🍔

Now I’m gonna keep it 💯 — the wait was about 15 minutes. ( on the first visit) Longer than I thought. But when that burger hit the table? ALL was forgiven. Fries? Crispy, fresh, actually way better than I expected. But that burger… easy 9/10, maybe even a 10 depending on the day.

The kicker? The bun. A fresh challah from local bakery Cake and Bacon. (Never heard of it but definitely gonna be on my radar) Nothing better than local businesses supporting local businesses 🙌. But that OG...Seasoned to perfection, juicy, stacked right.

So yeah, Boos is OFFICIALLY on my list. If you’re in the Eado area and you love a good burger, this is the move. Don’t...

Honestly I expected more for $14. burger only. It was very small so if you have adult size appetite you'll want to order 2 of them or consider a triple meat. In all fairness the meat was quality Angus and fresh however only 2-3 small pickles on it so if you like pickles you'll want to get extra pickles but I'm sure they'll charge extra for them because it's $1. for extra sauce. Also, if you like black pepper on your burger I recommend bringing your own salt and pepper as they do not offer either there. The burger was flavorful even though gone in 3-4 bites. The service was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Outside music vibe was nice as dining is outside in the median on Navigation street but there were clean tables in clean area so night time visit is best option. I will probably return but not with big appetite and bring my own salt and pepper so I can season to...

So Boo’s isn’t your typical dine-in burger joint.. it’s more of a grab-and-go setup, which works if you’re craving something quick and flavorful. They’re still in their soft opening phase, so the flow and wait times could use a little tightening up, but I’ll give them grace for that. Now let’s talk burgers. The Shroom Sammie, hands down the star of the menu. Packed with flavor, and just the right balance of savory and umami. If you’re a mushroom lover, run, don’t walk. And the fries? My daughter went through FOUR orders… no exaggeration. They taste like they’re fried in duck fat or something equally indulgent… super crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. Fried to absolute perfection. Looking forward to seeing them hit their full stride, but even now, Boo’s is bringing something tasty to the burger scene. Definitely worth a try.
