I am a hair stylist and for over 2 yrs now I have been going this beauty empire on Westheimer. Not the plus, but the one that has miguel as the manager but whenever they dont have what I need then I go to the plus or miguel calls to see if they have what I need. Anywaz I sent my client to get hair from the beauty empire plus because the didnt have what I needed at the first beauty empire. I called them to ask if the have a specific type of hair, the lady who spoke to me went to check and said yes they do so I told her that we had started my clients hair but we ran out of hair so we need that hair asap and my clients does not know what kinda hair she needs so that's why I called and they told me they had the right hair, mind you we were all the way in Katy and my client drove 25mins to pickup her hair cos they had it waiting at the register. She picked it up and drove straight back without checking cos she didnt know the kinda hair she needed anyways. Only for her to get back to me and I screamed cos it was the total wrong hair they gave her. Totally wrong and we called immediately and ALAINA WAS SO SO RUDE ON THENPHINE AND HANGED UP ON US TWICE,TALKING ABOUT POLICY AND SHE DIDNT CARE COS THIS IS THE POLICY THAT WE CAN'T RETURN THE HAIR WE JUST PICKED UP FROM THE STORE. IT WAS NOT UNTIL I CALLED MIGUEL AND HE CALMED ME DOWN COS MY CLIENTS QAS BLAMING ME THAT I TOLD HER TO GO THERE AND WASTE HER MONEY. MIGUEL CALMED US DOWN AND SAID HE WAS GOING TO FIX IT,HE CALLED ME BACK WITH A GOOD NEWS. Miguel is an angel to this beauty empire owner coa he deals with all customer so nicely and I HAVE TOLD MYSELF THAT I WILL NEVER STEP NY FOOT AT THAT BEAUTY EMPIRE PLUS NEVER AGAIN. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME ALAINA S BEEN RUDE TO ME. I UNDERSTAND IF YOU ARE PREGNANT BUT TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WELL AND ATLEAST (SMILE). I KNOW MIGUEL IS OFF MONDAYS AND LEAVE AT 1PM ON SUNDAYS. FUNNY THING IS I EVEN STILL COME ALL TH WAY FROM KATY TO BUY ALL MY CLIENTS BRAID HAIR. ANYWAY ILL ONLY COME GET WHAT I NEED ONLY WHEN MIGUEL IS ON DUTY. THANK YOU AGAIN MIGUEL FOR YOUR...

My main location is the Beauty Empire location off Westheimer @ Eldridge Parkway. I really like this location as well. The ladies offer their assistance, then they leave you alone to shop.
You will need to leave large bags up front and you are required to purchase one of their wig caps in order to try on wigs. They cost 50 cents. My suggestion is to walk in with that 50 cents and get that cap right from the beginning, so you can go straight back and enjoy the selection. They have tons of wigs and all the other beauty supplies that you need.
You cannot play in there and try on wigs all day and all night. First, look around until you find 5 or 6 wigs that you really like, then try those on.
What I like about BOTH Beauty Empire locations is the selection and the great ladies who work there. They hire black ladies and spanish ladies, which I appreciate. There is a really sweet black lady who wears glasses. She works on the sales floor. She is so helpful, but not annoying. She doesn't treat you like a criminal. She told me about some 75% off Vivica Fox wigs at the Eldridge location. Hunny, I came back four days later and bought all 12 of them and I'm glad I did. They are too cute! I am stocked up 😊. This place never lets a sista down.
One more thing... If you like Vanessa wigs, you need to come here. Both locations carry Vanessa wigs, but this location off Westheimer @ Dairy Ashford has a TON of Vanessa wigs in so many pretty colors. If you are mature and you like those short Vanessa wigs, you need to come here. Even if you have to drive across town. Bring 50 cents for your wig cap. You will not be...

Soon as you walk in the store they have a collage of pictures that show people who are banned from the store. The collage has the people's faces and what they did for all to see as shown in these photos.
They had a sale so I attempted to participate. I had 2 other people with me. Because we are of the same race, walked in about the same time, and seemed friendly they assumed we are in the same household. I was told I couldn't purchase what I had planned which was in accordance with the posted sale parameters. Though I repeatedly told them we are in different households. I almost had to get my driver's license (which I got this month) to show we were NOT in the same household! One employee (who may have been part owner), took it personally when I told her I was offended and that I felt this was racist. This store is created for black people, yet black people are belittled and humiliated in this place. I was prepared to spend $200 or more, however after much contemplation I spent less than $50. I also advised said woman the money lost from just me alone in addition to the fact that I would not return. She said, with her expressions and actions that she...
