Update: 5/24/24 Since the man tried to make me out to be a liar heres a video I made of the food he said they dont make. I made this video to post org for an awesome review. I returned shorty after to take a friend. See video below of the same dish with broccoli & no rice. Org Review: I'm not sure how long this place has been open but I have been ordering from them for years. I stopped eating them for a couple years and recently just started back. I went in one day during lunch and grabbed the sesame chicken, I don't eat rice so I ordered a side of broccoli. When the plate came it was beautiful the broccoli was placed all the around the sesame chicken and it was amazing. A friend said they were hungry and I suggested we go here. I placed my same order, we sat down, waited for a while at the table like everyone else. It was about 4 sets of people in there. I watched everyone order the sesame chicken and my friend noticed how popular it was and said they should have gotten it too. EVERYONE who ordered sesame chicken has huge broccoli portions & of course I was ready to see mine. When my plate came out I had ONE piece of broccoli and my friend said "Excuse we are waiting for her side of Broccoli" The man said " We don't do sides of broccoli" I asked him "What are you talking about I've been getting this plate this way for a very long time". Then he asked me for my phone number so he could look up my pass orders. Are you kidding me? So let me understand this, I ordered a plate and instead of the person that placed the ordered saying I cant pay for broccoli they just let me believe it was coming and was never going to say a word and then make it seem like I'm lying and asking for my phone # was insane. The lady that seems to run the place is the one who took my ordered the day the plate came out. I really hate taking people I know to places that I recommend and things don't work out. I have no reason to return after all these years. The food is good but that entire interaction rubbed me the wrong way. Check the way you treat customers because its not consistent. I wont be ordering here for friends, family or business anymore.

I had high hopes for this place. Seems like all the Chinese restaurants near my home are subpar or closing all together. I still have one ol faithful, but I’m always searching for a backup just in case. I wasn’t able to find a menu online, so I was heavily relying on the order taker. She was very helpful, patient and made recommendations. I ordered pan fried dumplings, wonton soup, sesame chicken with fried rice and a pork eggroll. The delivery guy was very nice and arrived in the time quoted. This is where the hood ended. The wonton soup was darker than any other wonton soup I’ve ever seen. It was fair. The one good thing about it was you can choose with green onions or without. WITHOUT! Not an onion fan. I did not try the wonton its self. I was a little turned off by the color of the broth. The pan fried dumplings were the best item in my order. Not super flavorful, but better than the other food. The sesame chicken was terrible. The glaze had absolutely no flavor and the chicken itself had hard pieces on the edges that I had to spit out. It was so bad, I quit after 2 pieces and tossed the rest. The fried rice was hopeful looking. I like fried rice with egg, but this was a big nope! The rice was hard and under cooked. The eggroll was okay, but honestly, Jack In The Box has the best eggrolls ever! About 35 minutes after eating that small amount, my hands started to swell. I guess that’s an indication of MSG? All this to say, I was so disappointed with my order. $29.00 for the meal and most of it went into the trash. I’m always willing to give grace and try again, but I don’t think I can stomach it. Sorry, CW.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after reading reviews. I ended up going 1 day and ordered again the next day, to try other items. On my first visit the special fried rice was great flavor, temperature, and taste. Food seemed freshly prepared, and I ordered rice and wonton soup. Soup was good, but I have had better soup as far as flavor. Salt added, did help the flavor. Food was ready as promised. The following day I ordered the sweet and sour chicken dinner plate, chicken fried rice, wonton soup, and fried wonton. The food was fresh but did find that the chicken(sweet and sour)didn't have a lot of flavor. The fried rice was hot and freshly prepared, but I asked to serve eggs on the side(special instructions), but they were in the rice. This was great disappointment because my daughter is allergic to egg. I was tired from 13 hrs of work and not returning to complain. Ice tea was amazing! Staff is nice.

Review: Disappointing Experience After Initial Promise

I had high hopes for this place after my first visit when I ordered the shrimp egg rolls. The representative assured me they made them like a traditional egg roll, and I was thrilled with how awesome they tasted! However, my subsequent visits have been quite disappointing.

On my second visit, the egg rolls were soggy, and by the third time, they were both small and soggy. I decided to give them another chance today and inquired if it was just a glitch. The staff suggested it might have been sitting in the carton too long, but they insisted the recipe hadn't changed. When I ordered again, what I received looked more like a greasy spring roll than an egg roll.

I tried to explain my previous experiences to them, but they insisted that only the pork egg rolls were made in the traditional style. I wondered if perhaps the cook had made a mistake with the shrimp rolls, but ultimately, I was ready to accept whatever they served and move on. That’s when the owner stepped in. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he dismissed me, implying I was wrong about my previous orders and that I had never received the egg roll.

Feeling disrespected, I opted for a refund and decided I wouldn't be returning. It's unfortunate because the initial experience was promising, but the way I was treated and the inconsistency in the food has left a bad taste in my mouth. The other offerings on the menu are just okay, but the customer service is what truly matters, and in this case, it was lacking. I can't recommend this place based on my experiences.

Owner, here is my reply on

Thank you for your response and for taking the time to address my concerns. I want to clarify that I did indeed receive a shrimp egg roll the size of the pork egg roll during my first visit. In fact, I was so impressed by it that I called my mother, who lives a thousand miles away, just to share my excitement about the dish.

I understand that you and your staff believe the shrimp egg rolls have always been a different size, but my previous experience was quite the opposite. I appreciate that you reviewed my order history, and I’m confident that the employee who took my order that day would corroborate my account.

I felt compelled to share my experience publicly because of how distasteful our interaction became. I assure you, I was not questioning your staff's integrity; I simply wanted acknowledgment of my genuine experience.

Regarding the distinction between spring rolls and egg rolls, I understand the difference, but my complaint was about the size and quality of the shrimp egg rolls I received. I did not intend to imply that I was being called crazy or a liar; I was merely expressing my frustration over the inconsistency in your product.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope my feedback can help improve the experience for...
