We had a fantastic experience with the staff at Cafe Natalie. I would highly recommend them to anybody for their wedding or even just another large gathering. As someone who really cares about food, they made our wedding experience so incredibly memorable. I can't speak highly enough of them.

Tasting/food selection experience: the tasting was quite easy to schedule, however I can understand for some couples if figuring out weekday times to do wedding tastings can be a little difficult. We were sent an extensive menu ahead of time of selection options and were given the option to pick several appetizers, salads, and entrees. On the day of our tasting, we were welcomed with a glass of champagne. The tasting was held in a private room at their offices. We were able to review all of the silverware and plating options as well at this time. The food was brought out in courses. Everything was delicious. One thing I hadn't anticipated was that they are able to make modifications to their menu to suit your tastes. For example, the salad that we enjoyed the most we thought would be better with fresh blueberries as opposed to dried and they were very easily able to make this accommodation without extra charges. In another instance, we thoroughly enjoyed their steak option, but I love a steak Diane sauce, and they were able to add that on to our menu. Later on, after we had signed on with them, we were even able to repeat a tasting to try a few other options to further refine our final menu. One thing that we really loved about Cafe Natalie was that every guest receives a dual entree which is somewhat unique compared to what we've seen at previous weddings.

Communication: getting in touch with the staff at Cafe Natalie was always prompt and professional. We were always able to get our questions answered within a business day. We had several guests on our guest list with specific dietary restrictions and cafe Natalie was able to accommodate all of these guests with appropriate dual entrees. All of these guests were able to be served individually despite the fact that we had chosen family style dining for the rest of the party.

Day of: the service that Cafe Natalie provided on the day of our wedding was really seamless. They did a great job of setting up the dining room according to our specifications. All of the place settings were neat and spotless. Amy was our point of contact for the day and she did a fantastic job of communicating with our coordinator to make sure that things were running promptly. After we were done taking wedding photos, Amy was even kind enough to take us aside and provide us with some hot and delicious appetizers. In terms of the food service, all of the food was exactly as we had tasted during the original tasting (I can't emphasize how relieved I was that this was the case). We were very happy with all of our selections and our guests were very satisfied as well. As for the bar service, everybody seemed to be working quickly and professionally. None of our guests had any complaints about the bar, nor did anybody seem overserved which was nice. The staff at cafe Natalie also sent us home with a bag of packaged food from the dinner and wedding cake (we devoured this shortly after getting home).

LOVED Cafe Natalie as our wedding caterer! I was married at the Meekermark 10/23/21 and went with Cafe Natalie as our caterer after tasting some of their amazing food at other's weddings. Their food truly is delicious and impressed even the most critical members of my foodie family! But besides spectacular gourmet food, here are other reasons they are so excellent:

Super customer service/communication (the best of all my vendors, and all of my vendors were good): Cafe Natalie is super responsive to both emails and phone calls, responding within 1-2 business days. I ended up purchasing bartenders, linens, and glassware/plating all from Cafe Natalie, so often times I would have like 10 questions in one call or email, and they would diligently answer all of them thoroughly. Even if you happen to reach different staff members on different days, they are super organized and can pick up your project from wherever you last left off.

One stop shop for all catering needs: My goal for wedding planning was the minimize the # of vendors especially since I was planning from out-of-state. As above, I purchased bartenders, linens (they have a linen partner and offer the full range of colors/textures), glassware/plating, cake cutting, wait staff for a plated meal, and champagne toast all through Cafe Natalie. I saved a lot of money and time being able to consolidate all of those goods/services through one vendor.

Professionalism/kindness: There was a moment during my wedding reception when an uncle who had RSVPd no decided to come anyway, necessitating a change to the head table seating and the need for another plate of food. I started to panic a little- when suddenly the manager from Cafe Natalie tapped my shoulder and said something like "Tell me what you need, I can fix this" and completely smoothed everything over. That level of above-and-beyond professionalism really touched me. I'll also add that I had two postponements of my wedding due to COVID-19, and Cafe Natalie never charged me a cent extra for postponing over a period of almost 2 years which I know could not have been easy for them.

We had the pleasure of working with Café Natalie for our wedding in September at the Julia Ideson Library, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the initial consultation to the day of the event, they were incredibly professional, accommodating, and a joy to work with.

Food Quality: The food was delicious! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about Short Ribs and Mushroom Risotto! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was the appetizers, main courses, or desserts, each dish was perfectly executed.

Service: The staff was outstanding—attentive, polite, and efficient. They ensured that everyone was well taken care of and handled any dietary requests seamlessly. Our guests really appreciated how friendly and accommodating they were. The servers entered the room in unison and served each guest at a table at the same time.
