Currently here temporarily on an assignment from The Lord. The rooms are much nicer here than where I was next door at Intown Suites, but the rooms still look dated, especially on the third floor. Cheapest rates are on the 3rd floor but also that's where a lot of traffic is located. Some sit outside the emergency exit doors and smoke a cigarette or whatever. It's still better than someone directly next door to you smoking and you can smell the smoke coming into your room from the A/C like next door. The Hispanic guy (I forgot his name) is really pleasant. I didn't have a chair in my room and he told me to call back in the morning. Well I forgot and when I came back from work, the chair was in my room. That's good customer service to me. Many guests hang outside and I'd just be wary of having a flashy vehicle during your stay here. Many homeless walk up and down Rodgerdale so make sure nothing valuable is stored in your car. I'm enjoying it so far and it's been ok since moving from Intown Suites. I'd much rather be here than over there where drug activities are commonplace, mold, roaches, as well as disturbances from the mentally unstable, drunk or high guests. One way in and out. The emergency exit doors have alarms on them that will activate if you go out of them.

The toilet was disgusting! The bed was disgusting! There was bodily fluids visible everywhere and who knows what kind of illness we would have gotten if we stayed. Still waiting on refund!! This place needs to be torn down and burnt! You call yourselves top rated hotel, I call this a disgrace to hotels and not even would I consider a stay in any of your locations. I see tons of bad reviews and yet still you do nothing about it but type and say your sorry.. someone needs to shut this location down for sure!!! I had to put a star but don’t be proud I wouldn’t have given you a star at all if it were an option.

Definitely a standard, down-the-middle 3-star experience, except several times, this location has had a price $10-15 better (per night) than all of its nearby Extended Stay brethren. The lobby/check-in area is smaller and more dingy than several similar motels, but the room was considerably more spacious than I expected (not especially clean, though). Still delighted by the value though - worked out to about $42/night with Extended Perks. Tepid recommendation.

I am a 26 year Texas attorney and former police officer who works in Houston and have stayed at this hotel off and on for numerous weeks since November, 2017. I made a reservation through priceline for September 24-25, 2018. When I left for court on the 25th I forgot to check out and left my toiletries but more importantly left my diabetes, bp and sleep meds in the room number 325. After court at approximately 2 pm I realized what I had done which was my fault in the first place, and had the misfortune of speaking to the front desk person named Ashton. A five foot two little man syndrome about 22 years old. I advised him of my mistake and advised this little person to please hold my property as required by law to hold and I advised I would make another reservation for wednesday and would pick up my property around 6 pm when I got there. Of course you know what happened next, when I got there with my non-refundable reservation thru priceline and asked him to please get my meds after I had signed all of the check in papers. He then looked around the office and of course now claimed no one had turned in my property and there was nothing he could do. I did raise my voice to this small man and after I advised him that i was feeling like i was having a low sugar episode and wasnt feeling well as it was time to take my meds for that condition. He then proceeded or claimed to have called his manager (I have no proof whether he did or not but it sounded like he did but refused let me talk to her myself which is very suspicious) it could have been his mother for all I know. He then claimed that he was told to cancel my reservation and to leave without my money I had paid for the night. He began to laugh at my disability (diabetes) and said I should have thought about my meds when I left that morning. I could not believe what this little boy was saying and how he was saying it. It wasnt like the place was full by any means, I know why now. Priceline refused to transfer my reservatuon to another Extended Stay about a mile down the road because little boy was playing tough guy and HE cancelled it not me. I will deal with them later in JP Court. So I then went to the other extended stay up the road at 2424 West Sam Houston Parkway and stayed there. Desirre there could not have been nicer. When I told her what happened she advised they had had other problems with Ashton before at the Richmond location in dealing with customers. I was not surprised at all, he really enjoyed having some power over someone much more educated than he will ever be. I really hope if he matures with age he will someday with hard work make more that 10 bucks and hour for the rest of his life. As an ex cop im sure they took my meds and sold them on the street as "rip off" and made a little coin. I could have gone into a diabetic coma and those of you who have this know how dangerous that can be. Little man could not have cared less. If and when someone does suffer injury due to staff stealing meds they will be writing a check with many zeros in it.

In sum, please do not EVER stay here because of the VERY poor uneducated attitude of ASHTON. I get that poor people like ASHTON make very little for that menial job and they are a dime a dozen and do not care. But the franchisor who sold the brand to the owner will be getting a letter from our law firm regarding the events that took place proving a clear violation of the contract between the owner and the franchisor. ASHTON: Google it and learn something-on your next high paying job.

Please stay at the Extended Stay Westchase Westheimer, Houston, Tx. Very nice, clean. All TV channels work and Dessirre was super professional, will be manager very soon. Ashton?...

Even if they offer you a free room don’t waste your time here.. I’m currently staying here for one more night and I’m super unhappy with the service they provided so far !..

  1. they got signature from us to not smoke as it supposed to be free smoking hotel,,and if they find any sign of cigar smoking they fine for 250$,, but surprisingly when we wanted to sleep at first night we found a hole on the cover of bed..so I took video and went directly to the front desk to inform ..whenever they put such regulatory ,so we expect from them to check the blankets,covers,sheets.. what if I wouldn’t take that video camera and they asked me to pay for 250 for the hole they found on the check out day?so they need to provide everything clean, fresh and new before asking guests to sign and check in..plus their sheets are dirty with lots of black marks,, we normally use our own sheets in every hotel..but in this hotel I don’t recommend to spend one single second without your personal sheet..😡😡😡
  2. we found cockroach near the sink of kitchen ,,even we didn’t leave any food or unwashed dish around .. Imagine you come inside after tired day and find dead cockroach in your washed dish..so I cleaned them all from beginning and I don’t want to eat anything ..feel vomiting ..🤮 3)they supposed to provide breakfast ,as I had great experience in other branches of extended stay America so I was shocked they just provide coffee.. No creamer ,No tea, No cereal , No hot chocolate,no snack bars, muffins and fruits.. The regular standard breakfast of them as my previous experience is: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, snack bar ,muffin and ..apple or orange alternatively .i am a loyal customer so I know well about this type of corporate housing ..
  3. the laundry room is smelly and humid ,,can’t stay there for single second ,, most of dryers are out of order.. 5)the customized kitchen stuffs are pretty useless and old..
  4. I booked online and I’m really unhappyyyyyyyyyyyy...🤭😶😷🤢🤕😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 PLEASE DONT GIVE ANSWER PROVIDED BY VIRTUAL COOKIES... I will definitely provide all my documents and videos if the management want to know more about my unsatisfied experience but in meantime please don’t...

I stayed for quite a bit of time, and to be honest the rooms aren't bad but aren't great either. The rooms might need to be cleaned more properly, also the internet was actually pretty good I paid for the faster internet and never had an issue. The front desk staff was actually pretty nice to me, I have noticed reviews of others complaining about the Front Desk employees, but to be quite honest I noticed if you are nice and friendly to them, they are super nice in exchange, also I don't blame them if they aren't in the greatest of moods, I've seen first hand over countless times of some sketchy clients arguing with them, I'm sure after a while they get irritated. Jennifer and George were there usually when I would pass by and I have to say THEY WERE AWESOME. Again at times I felt bad for them because of the type of clients they would have to encounter and deal with on a daily event.

My biggest complain overall will happen to be the SMELL of the property once you walk in and also while you walk the hall ways.

I can't stress this next thing enough, which I think would fix a-lot of their issues instantly. The types of people who stay here aren't very nice people, you see some very sketchy charActers at all times of the day. You would see some drug activity outside by the dumpster, and by the entrance side. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND parking by the front office, I wouldn't trust anything in your car unfortunately. The people who stay here make your stay feel unsafe and like yo have to watch your every step literally..

I encountered other individuals like myself who were the working crowd that are alone and just want to rest in a quiet room. I truly believe that even if they raised their rates and made an effort to have working class clients they would have better service and less safety issues. I really wish they would have some type of security n\ during the night time because you feel...
