Twin Crab — Restaurant in Houston

I don’t even know where to start… 😐

I decided to drive 40 minutes to this place because I heard their food was amazing! Boy was I wrong! First of all, the bathrooms nasty! I do not like eating at places with nasty bathrooms! The eating area itself was clean and decent.

My baby and I were seated after maybe 10 minutes of a wait time. Our server was cool I guess, I think his babe was Erik; I can’t remember. He didn’t refill our drinks at all nor really checked on us.

To start off about our order. I ordered my baby the chicken tenders with fries and a drink. He picked over the chicken tenders, he said they didn’t taste good, which is insane because my baby loves chicken tenders. I ordered myself 5 lbs of crawfish, 1/2 lb of sausage, potatoes, corn, and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries came out first. I am a lover of sweet potato fries! I’ve never tasted any that I didn’t like, until these ones. They had a weird taste to them that I can’t explain. They were disgusting.

Now to the worst part of my meal, the crawfish!! They were super tiny, no flavor—just full of garlic , and soggy. Not to mention majority of them didn’t have tails, I checked. 😐 I ate MAYBE 5 crawfish out of that entire bag. I couldn’t eat those things at all!!! The potatoes weren’t done and were very hard, the sausage is sliced super thin and put in the bag with the food. I didn’t like that at all! I mean, I don’t even know if they’d actually given me 1/2 a lb. The corn was probably the only decent thing out of this entire meal smh. I was fed up, I asked my waiter for my ticket so that I could go home. I spent MAYBE 30 minutes in total at this place. That’s how fast I left because of the food. The waiter was confused at how fast I asked for my ticket, because he had literally just sat out plates down. He also realized that my bag was still full. He asked if everything was okay? I explained to him that the food wasn’t good at all and I’d just like to pay and go home. I wasted gas, spent over $60 on food that I couldn’t eat and went to bed starving LITERALLY! I was so upset because I hadn’t eaten a thing that day and I was anticipating a great meal. Needless to say, I’ll never eat...

I came here with my family for the first time, the restaurant was very clean, we were seated right away. We were also attended to right away. The menu had a variety of items, including fried rice, seafood, fried food, and lots of appetizers like hush puppies cheese sticks and calamari just to name a few. We ordered the appetizer sampler which came out promptly and was not over or undercooked and Very tasty. Then we ordered a big platter. I can’t remember the name of it but it came with king crab, snow, crab, shrimp, mussels, sausage, eggs, and the price of this we paid 199, which I feel is reasonable. All of the seafood was cooked extremely well nothing was overcooked or undercooked. Everything tasted very fresh. I personally was not crazy about the sauce we chose which was the Cajun mixed with garlic butter, but I think that’s just my personal preference. We will be back and we will be trying just the garlic butter alone, which I think is more a cup of tea. And I forgot to mention I got a mango margarita and a shot of Mexican candy, which were both really good. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant, it’s absolutely...

I would not normally give a mediocre review but I had to this time. I think this place is beautiful with very catchy interiors and the way they try to brand their name is perfect - for example the bags, the wet naps, etc. The only thing that makes my review goes from a 5 stars to a 3 stars is the waitress. My wife called in the order and she sounded very rude to my wife on the phone. When I got there, I walked in, stated my name, and paid for the food. I noticed a bag that already out and thought maybe if it was mine, the waitress would have given me the bag. So I proceeded to sit down near the front where the waitress could see me so she could flag me when it’s my turn. After a solid 20 mins waiting and keep looking at her, I walked up to her and asked about my order, and she turned around and grabbed that same bag that was sitting there when I paid for my order, and handed it to me.
