Cambios de imagen Mia — Local services in Houston

I made contact with this company through an expo and decided we liked what they offered but when I called there was no answer. Then I resorted to Facebook and contacted them through the messenger app where of course it them some time to respond well since the first response we were able to come to an agreement on services to be rendered and I even paid a deposit with long waits in between messages. the deposit, which is ridiculously priced ($365) for services that would only be $540 also outrageous! When I found out how far they were from our event venue and that they would not come to the event venue to provide services, I kindly asked for a refund and that we could not possibly travel over an hour for two different appointments that would take 2-3 hours for hair and makeup for a photo shoot and for the event itself. Well the person I was messaging told me that the deposit was non refundable which was never stated in any of our messages nor do we have a contract that states this. I don't think they are doing right by the potential customer and I believe it is time for a refund. The options that were given to me by the person were not acceptable and doing business through Facebook messenger and not answering the phone are both unacceptable and unprofessional.

I hope this matter gets resolved quickly and professionally before other actions have to be taken.

Ok an update on my experience….. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement on a refund so we used their services for my daughters photo shoot only and not for our actual event. As for the actual day the makeup artist and nail / hair artist did and amazing job and made my daughter feel like the princess she is so let me be very clear that the employees were and are very talented and amazing thank you to them.

My sister recommended Cambios de Imagen Mia, after we had a bad experience with the first salon I booked. My daughter had her photoshoot for her 15 this week. Mia did an incredible job on her hair. It was even better than we had hoped. Denise did an amazing job on her makeup. The girl who did her nails also did a beautiful job. It's the works! The ladies are a dream.

We didn't do the trial hair/makeup so I was initially a bit skeptical due to our previous experience with the other salon but boy did Mia and her ladies put those fears to sleep.
