Deleite Bakery — Restaurant in Jacinto City

I ordered a custom tres leches cake from this bakery for my birthday, paid $105 for it- and was really let down. When I placed the order, the girl taking it seemed very disorganized. I specially requested GOLD glitter on the cake. However, when my husband picked it up, the cake had SILVER glitter instead. My husband called me to let me know they only had pink and silver, so I told him to pick the pink. They gave him the cake in a huge box because they ran out of regular boxes. Thankfully my sister was there to help.

What's worse is that they asked for my phone number when I ordered, but no one ever contacted me to let me know they ran out of gold glitter. If you are not going to use the phone number to communicate important changes why even ask for it?

To top it off, when we cut into the cake, it was completely DRY, definitely not a tres leches cake. It tasted like a basic sponge, not soaked in any milk at all. I tried calling to speak with a supervisor but was told they weren't there.

I would NOT recommend ordering custom cakes from here, especially for special occasions. Save your money and go somewhere that actually listens and delivers what...

I asked for the cake like the inspo(just without the chocolate drizzle) I’m so sad to be writing this because this has always been one of my favorite bakeries, but I had a really disappointing experience with my recent order. I showed the inspiration picture when I placed my order and paid $70, expecting the cake to look similar. Unfortunately, the cake I received looked nothing like the inspo photo. For the price, I truly expected more attention to detail and closer resemblance to what I requested.

I love this place the margaritas are amazing when you get them in the plastic bag they last longer otherwise if you get them in the brown bag they get hard for the next day, and the same for the Frances, but they do need to have more outside ready since they are always sold out and they give about 5 hours grace to bring out another batch. The cortadillo are good in pink color the white ones just taste like regular cake, if they do the original recipe of white frost with bolitas sprinkles instead of the long sprinkles they would be the best, this is the reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.
