We bought a 2005 Honda Pilot car for $3995 from this location for my son's first car (That he saved up for a year with his own money) on 6/3/19, on 6/4/19 we drove it off the lot at 4:40 pm. $3000 was paid as a down payment with the remainder balance and TTL in house financed. Prior to sell there was a maintenance light on that they assured me was only an oil change or sensor due and that they would have it fixed prior to our possession. They assured us that this was a good running vehicle. The radio and accessories did not work at the time of purchase, they stated it was an anti-theft mechanism within the vehicle from when they 'unplugged the battery', and that it would only need a code from the manufacturer to fix. We were able to get the radio working with the code that night. We drove it home to Magnolia and the transmission slipped twice. In the morning we drove our son to school at 7:30 and the check engine light came on, the vehicle transmission slipped twice again. We took it to our mechanic at Louetta Automotive and ran diagnostics. The code came back as P0741: Torque converter clutch Circuit or Stuck off. Further inspection of the vehicle they found an internal failure of the torque converter and solenoid. Mechanic stated this requires transmission rebuild that will cost $3,700. And the monitor had 2 'not ready' codes on it possibly from someone attempting to clear the codes by unplugging the battery. Pictures were also taken of oil filter, no oil change was done during their maintenance when they cleared the maintenance code. I called the dealership at 2pm 6/5/19 after finding this out from my mechanic. I was not able to get a hold of an owner until 6pm the evening of 6/5 and he requested we bring the vehicle back to them for inspection. We loaded the car on our flatbed and transported it back to the dealership, they received it at 1:20 PM on 6/6. We only drove the vehicle a total of 122.6 miles. 6/7/19 at 9:30 AM they stated that their mechanic stated it had the same code, but it is normal for 'older' cars to have these codes, the car runs fine and this is a good running vehicle. When clarifying that he is stating a car with major internal transmission failure and a check engine light on is a good running vehicle for a 17 yr old, he stated we purchased a 2005 used vehicle and that our realistic expectations shouldn't be that everything runs like a new car. I stated that my expectation 15 hours after driving off their lot I shouldn't have to rebuild my transmission. They are insisting the car runs fine, despite we felt it slip while driving it home AND diagnostic codes that state otherwise. When requesting my money back due to this issue 15 hours after driving it off the lot and that the vehicle was slipping now with a check engine light and needing transmission repair, the owner stated we signed papers As Is and that they were not going to do anything about this matter. Photo is the day we brought the car home. 6/4 BE WARE!

Ok i bought a vehicle from this location and honestly i should have just went elsewhere for many reasons….i waited a month to see how it drives which it drive pretty good but it’s the minor things that making me give this company a low rating! 1st when buying this vehicle there were a couple of things wrong with the car they should have disclosed in the carfax or to me when selling…i tried being reasonable since i like the car and no accidents on the car but… The car i purchased has a sunroof, so obviously that brings the price of the vehicle up …however the sunroof is damage … it can’t open fully all the way. When telling them this they tried to say it was fine before i bought it lying to me so that they can’t bring the price of the vehicle down.. so I went to a Mercedes dealer ship and had them look at the vechicle after 4 days of purchase… they told me the sunroof has been damaged for awhile based off the alignment of the tracker hence why the sunroof cannot open costing me 3k to fix … i wouldn’t have known that if i didn’t go to the actual MB dealership.. 2. The windshield wipers also doesn’t work liquid does not dispense out which it should … expressed to them this problem and they chose not to have anyone looking into it after telling me they would! 3. damage to the seats which they tried to cover with paint which i also discovered after purchasing… I should have brought a mechanic with me to check for minor things which i didn’t … they only care about getting cars off the lot at a high price instead of negotiating with their customers with the problems they have with their vehicles … I wouldn’t advice anyone to buy a car from here i made a mistake coming to this dealer but was desperate for a car and it was within reach . Now I’m suffering paying more for a car that needs fixing when i could have went to a better dealership

I had a great experience with Direct Car Company. I first found the car on Truecar.com. I show up and I meet the Owner, Arlo. He took very good care of me from financing the car to taking it home. I must say my credit was pretty bad at the time so the APR was a little high but that’s on me. Bought the vehicle July 2021 and is still running and looking great. Thank you Arlo and the Direct Car Company Team. I strongly recommend buying from this company to the next person.

This car company is the absolute worst thing that has happened to me. If you are a young woman please bring a man with you to ANY dealership cause they will take advantage of you . DO NOT get a car with them AT ALL. I came in to purchase a car that I thought would run great after leaving the lot. Before I left the psi for the tires was on I asked Andre 3 times was the tires good for me to drive he said I just needed to go to discount tire and get the psi recalibrated. I went home 2 days later the tires were on flat and not able to air them back up due to them being so bad. The next week the engine started to run hot I called Alton to let him know he said he would send me a tow truck. The tow truck did not come for 4 days I had to pay for one. Then they told me that it was my fault the engine ran hot because I ran something over and broke the radiator I had only had it for a week and wasn’t able to drive it due to the tires being horrible . They told me my “warranty” wouldn’t cover it because it was my fault. So I went to look for my warranty that they told me they gave to me and come to find out they never added the warranty so I had to pay a total of $1000 in car repairs for something I wasn’t able to drive or something I didn’t do . Andre was extremely disrespectful , detrimental, and dismissive to me. He threatened to beat me up because I called him out on his disrespectfulness .NOW the AC is out due to a leak in the lining and my license plate has expired and they keep telling me it hasn’t arrived keep in mind it has been 2 months since I now have had the car up and running thanks to me and when I called about it they hung up on me and kept giving me the run around about it. This is just a disgrace of a company and I wouldn’t wish it on my...
