Absolutely LOVED it. For something so new (I think they said it was 7 weeks old when we visited in late July 2017), this is fantastic. A really wide variety of stalls, friendly people, and some unusual and different things as well as the stuff you get at most markets.
Here are just some of my faves: Lone Star Bee, with flavoured local honey (I bought two jars, salted lime, and mesquite; the product is fab but the packaging is to die for and these would make excellent gifts); Anvil Cards, with screen prints, magnets, and other fun stuff with a Houston and Texas theme running through it all; Bug in the Box, with insects in frames (much more beautiful than it might sound; very Victorian); Heirloom Humidors, with exquisite wood carvings (yes, humidors, but more as well); Twin Creeks Ranch meat; Big Bayou cocktail sauce (secret recipe, y'all), and Moo-Chila, with beautiful leather goods (shoes and bags) from Ecuador. And those are just the cards I collected; there were also gorgeous bags made of recycled plastic; cold-pressed juice; jerky, microgreens (very reasonable price and SO tasty)... oh, and the BEST breakfast tacos, from a stall called Tonada's (you'll have to ask because they didn't have any signage) that just made the morning.
I had so much fun and came home with a bag of goodies. Yes, it's hotter than Hades but they had fans out and there was a charming man selling water so you'll be fine. Go, go next Saturday. Say...

I wore an apron that I received from a Cavatore manager back in the 80's. The current owner (son) autographed for me. Turns out I also found his sunglass case. Small world. There were other small moments during this visit. I'll be back. Easy...

Decent prices and friendly people. The vendors they have, have been there for years, in many cases. They have the best egg vendor with the best eggs I've...
