The manager at the GameStop location on 10013 Almeda Genoa Rd B, Houston, TX 77075 is extremely lazy (my best description is he is a Latino male, plus size, wears glasses, short black and gray hair). I started off talking about how I needed a new set of joy con controllers. He cuts me off mid explanation saying he did not have any joy con's and I need to go to another store. I knew this store did not have joy con's because no store has any in stock. I explained to him I called and verified on two separate occasions at another GameStop’s and they said I could go to any GameStop, return the product, and have a new controller mailed to my house which will be faster. During our conversation he continued to cut me off, referred me to go to the other stores, refused to help in any way possible, and it seemed like I was ruining his evening by my exchange. I do understand it was close to closing and I do understand he had taco bell on the desk and he was eating so I might have interrupted his dinner but he should have been helpful and professional. I will admit this is the worst game stop I have ever been to, and this is not the first or 2nd time an employee has been rude to me at this location. Read moreVery rude like attitudes towards me and my coworker from a very tall latin guy and shorter lady. My coworker simply wanted to preorder a limited edition switch but got a bunch of “uhhs” and “not possible yet” responses when my local store told me information that it was possible to preorder. Told this staff the situation my store said and we were finally able to proceed with the purchase. Along comes the shipping portion and Corwyn, the employee that finalized the sale, decided to take it upon herself that my coworker wanted his switch delivered directly to his house. He even stated he felt much safer about his product being delivered directly to the store. Her response, “Well, if you just ship it here it will just take longer for you to get you switch since you have to drive to our store.”

I come in, lady tells me I can’t purchase it because it was released early and they could not honor it even though another person said they would.. on top of that my husband has a GameStop membership that I’ve never had an issue using before and suddenly I can’t use it unless he’s there with me physically.
