I want to start by saying if I could give this place a -5 I totally would. Today I had the worst experience at this location. The owner/ manager(B/M) was literally getting onto an employee in a very rude ugly manner right in front of customer by the cash registers to where it caught my attention. That’s not the way to teach or correct your employees. My son not from sickness but from eating to much and playing in the kids area, when picked up by my husband he threw up on him and it also got on the floor. I quickly asked my husband to run to the restroom with my son while I embarrassed( although I shouldn’t it happens) without asking for help began to cover it up and clean up the floor... I noticed I might need the mop since nobody had came by I asked my daughter to go get an employee ( in which later she told me she felt very uncomfortable by the same owner/ manager that I did in the beginning) Finally an employee comes by willing to help picks up the napkins and here comes the the unprofessional manager I’ve already mentioned... He pretty much in the rudest way looks at me( I’m already embarrassed over the incident) and asks where is it?? I’m confused like where is what my son?? No, and then the throw up is mentioned and he sees the employee with the napkins in his hands and he like yells at him throw that on the floor.. throw that now and come here... ( he takes him back to I guess properly get ready to clean some it yo although I had already cleaned up most of it) Minds you he just left me standing like an idiot never asked if I or even if my so was okay etc... I tried going to the restroom to get to my husband and son and he still talking rude to the employee not in private continues to ignore me... I apologized to the employee and asked if everything was okay and told him Thank you... that’s when I got my son and husband and I walked out with the nastiest taste in my mouth... I wanted to address it but then the guy was nowhere to be seen and left it like that but I will never go back to that location... The name Chick Fil A And today was a complete shame my 11 year old daughter watched the whole thing and could not believe it... Thank you Manager you’re doing a wonderful job! Not I hope you can get it together and practice professionalism in order to have such a high position. This is not to much for me but for the way you think it’s okay to handle...
Read moreI was very excited to visit this location after finding out that it's black-owned. As a black business owner, it's very important to me to support my community. However, this location is by far one of the worst, if not THE worst, chick-fil-a i have ever been to after giving it several chances. Also-- I used to work at a chick fil a back in 2016 as a manager, so trust me, I know the ins and outs of how a CFA should generally operate.
Where do I start. . . The food at this location is of inferior quality. 2/3 times the fries were soggy and they NEVER fill them all the way. The people at iPOS (drive-thru) were very condescending the second time around when I asked if they could please make sure the fries were filled adequately. The drive-thru employee rolled their eyes at me. I have a feeling Mr. Joe Anderson is trying to cheapen out the food while still making maximum profit. The place seems to be packed either way.
On another note, employees need to be reminded of certain health policies. The employee at OS cash (drive thru kiosk) had their mask below their nose, scratched it, and then handed me my receipt. Covid or not, I do NOT want to be touching something that was handled by someone picking their nose. I lost my appetite.
And if you manage to make it to the drive-thru window without a hassle, be prepared to park on the side to wait on your soggy fries because the kitchen seems to be backed up. I genuinely feel sorry for their back of house employees, they seem to be short staffed as they're always making people park for their orders. Also - don't expect any sort of compensation for waiting like at other CFAs. As I said before, Mr. Anderson seems to be cheap. Read moreI was there today 11/2/18 with an issue. My daughter decided to download the CFA app and ordered our food at the wrong location (Wayside). I was not able to drive down to the location on Wayside so i called them to ask for a refund or if i could go at a later time. They informed me that to get a refund i would have to call corporate ( i did and it was already closed) and that if i decided to go thru with my already purchased meals yes, i was able to go later that evening. But that if i was already at the location on Almeda that they could accommodate my order so i didnt have to drive that way. I was already ouside this Almeda location so decided to go in to ask and spoke to Joseph A. i believe he is the manager. He explained that he was not able to accommodate my order because even tho is the same name CFA that the other location already had my money and not them. He also said that they COULD refund me my money by using the order number so that i should call back to speak to a manager. Then he said "with that being said since you already went thru this inconvenience i will go ahead and give you your order but please call to the other location so they can refund you for the meals". Even tho it was my fault, im more than pleased with his professionalism of handling the situation. Joseph was helpful, so understanding, not rude at all and great at explaining everything to me.
