My husband and I had to move out of our home for 5 months due to a AC leak. Our entire house was packed into a Unit Container on the property. Our lamps were damaged in the move and I was desperately needing them repaired. I was driving down fondren and saw a Light Shop Sign and decided to stop in. Gio Herrera was so kind and attentive to my needs. I quickly learned it was a Lightbulb & Lighting Shop and not a repair shop....but non the less Gio came to my rescue. He repaired my lamps free of charge and it wasn't a simple fix. He then made sure my lamps were secured properly in my car to avoid damaging them on the ride home. My experience was so pleasant, that I decided to look at the lighting merchandise in the store. I was again pleasantly surprised at the quality, variety and affordability of the Lighting. Sel helped us last Saturday in purchasing pendant lights for our kitchen island. He was very honest about what some of our top choices before we made the final decision. He told us which lights may actually provide light and which ones were more decorative. He also helped us make the best decorative choices for our kitchen and we luckily found in his grand selection of light fixtures one that matched our current breakfast nook light fixture. This will make our home more cohesive and will make it stand out more per Sel’s advice. He also helped us buy a chandelier and provided us honest opinions about prices and lengths appropriate for our ceiling height. I was in the area shopping for lights for my hallway and happened upon Houston Lighting and Lightbulb. Sel greeted me and my friends at the door and was friendly and full of personality. I was sold at this point and was going to find something to buy just because I loved his spirit. I fully expected his products to be out of my price range and to my surprise, his pieces were reasonably priced. I did settle on a fixture for my breakfast area. It was the last one so he had to have his electrician to come in and take it down and package it. He called frequently and gave me updates and let me know when my light would be ready for pickup.
