This food truck deserves every one of it's stars. I do not live anywhere close to this place, but I occasionally volunteer at an organization in the area. It's been on my list to try for months because of the other reviews I've read here. I showed up right as he opened today. I apologize I didn't ask if he was the owner or not, but he was a very nice gentleman. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. It was all that the reviews made me hope it would be. The meat was smoky, tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The sandwich itself was wonderfully grilled. And when he gave me my food, he asked if I wanted sauce. I didn't know I could get sauce! The garlic sauce was to die for. I will unashamedly say, I ate both containers he gave me. It is a blessing and a curse that I don't live closer. A curse because I'm 30+ miles away. A blessing because otherwise I'd just eat every meal here and my wallet would be angry. If you are debating stopping by, just go. You will not be disappointed. Also, no I didn't get a picture of the sandwich because my mouth was watering before I had it...
Read moreThe food is good. No complains. The issue is the service and how they handle orders. Today was the 2nd time they messed up my order. A few weeks ago I went with family and friends and we had to wait for over an hour before they told us they are out of chicken and that they can only give zinger shawarma (which is basically frozen chicken tenders not the one on charcoal). They asked us order before coming so today I ordered through uber eats a half chicken and some mini shawarma for pickup. Called them 40 min after ordering to confirm if its ready and he said he doesn't have any order and if I want half chicken I have to wait 1 hour. He lied, I know he did. When I hung up the phone and went back to Uber eats, guess what message I got, store is out of half chicken and it gave me an option to cancel, so I canceled. Not ordering or...
Read moreI bought the 2 sandwich combo it was not edible. Could not tell if it was the bread or the chicken but something smelled and tasted extremely strong and toxic, as if someone poured lighter fluid over it. 2 hours later I am still burping toxic fumes. I could not eat it so I took it back and asked if they use any chemicals on the charcoal because I was concerned. I asked them to taste it themselves and the person who I assume was the owner assured me that this was how it is supposed to taste... They did not offer any apology or show willingness to fix things so I walked away and had to throw it in the trash. I feel like they need to put the charcoal to the side of the chicken and not directly underneath so it does not soak in all the...
