Horrible Dr. & would definitely not recommend him to anyone in pain. All he wants to do is injections and when you tell him the medication he is giving you doesn't work he doesn't care.
He doesn't even submit your insurance before the 90 days even though your paying a Co-pay and almost a year later sends you a bill because he failed to file your insurance claim.
He is being investigative be the insurance companies and medical board because he is doing this to a lot of patients who only want pain relief and then on top of this he charges you a high co-pay, doesn't file your insurance claims before the 90 day's and then sends out bills to so many patients because they left his practice to go to other Dr's. who listen, care, show you respect, and don't just try and up sell you on injections over and over, knowing you haven't even met your deductible or your insurance won't pay for it.
Thank goodness I never excepted his injections due to his lack of due diligence of not submitting insurance claims before 90 days like every other doctor does because this is their responsibility, and profession they chose 2 up hold””!””
His motto is, Profit Over People!!!!!! Up sell, up sell up sell injections & then when he know you haven't met your deductible or your insurance won't pay for it he and his staff fail to submit your claims to the insurance company for half a year, then all of a sudden wants to send bills out to so many patients it's despicable...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirstly, Dr. Kang has the absolute worst, if any, bedside manner! While searching for a reputable, highly recommended physician, their bedside manner is not the major concern. The quality of their care, knowledge, experience, etc., takes priority.
Dr. Kang does not take the time nor show much concern regarding a patient's current, overall health. Specifically, when a patient tries to address their current concerns & symptoms, he is constantly interrupting you. You cannot discuss anything with him, without him becoming very defensive and sarcastic!
Less than 7 days post-op, the patient continued to have some rather alarming/unusual concerns. At that time, when calling Dr. Kang's office, it took 2 days for the nurse to return the call. However, on his staff's behalf, they were professional and very cordial.
As an inpatient, Dr. Kang "flies" by the patient's family/friend in the waiting area, spouting off the results of the procedure. You have no idea what he is saying as he talks so fast and is already moving on to the next patient.
While working in medicine for over 30+ years, working many years with two world-renown surgeons, I have never seen a doctor treat a patient or family member in this manner.
Finally, I hope, in the future, Dr. Kang will be able to show more compassion to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have worked with Dr. Kang for over three years now due to chronic pain from two herniated disc in my back injury was roughly 6 years ago. I have had two major back surgeries and in between those procedures Dr. Kang has been able to manage my pain and he has an overall end goal in mind with my healthcare. This helps us discuss my overall goals and how he can help me reach them. I just had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in my body and Dr Kang even thought of where to place the battery to where is would out of the way of my favorite activity (which involves holstered pew pews). This Dr is a human like you and me and truly cares about his patients and their overall experience even in things he canāt control like pharmacies. To top of my point this guy really cares and does not simply give you the max dose of fentanyl when you walk in the office because even though you may like it initially you may not like the side effects or risks of dependence and addiction that comes with these meds. It is always a sign of a good doctor when they tend to heir on the side of caution until they understand the patient and what works for them. Great guy and best OR music playlist ever! PS I only got to 12 because someone went early and didnāt tell us š....
