the customer service at this beauty supply store has been the worst i have ever received at any establishment. my sister and i were riding the bus that day and we had gone thrifting. we were counting a few packs of hair and i went to the front to ask how much one would be. she told me the price and that meant that 5 packs of hair would be $72. i decided that i’d just get one pack of a different type of hair. i went to the other side of the store to get the hair while my sister put the other hair back. when i came back my sister was outside and the door was locked. they had locked me, (15), inside the store and my sister, (16), outside. they wouldn’t open the door and they began to berate me saying that i was trying to steal. i was genuinely embarrassed and confused because my sister and i had no intention of stealing anything from their store. the manager came up to me and asked to search my bag many times (to which i declined because it’s illegal to search the belongings of another person w/o permission.) they threatened to call the police while my sister was still outside. they finally let us go when they checked the cameras and realized that we had, in fact, not stolen anything. the whole thing lasted for about 20 minutes. this is the first time i had ever experienced anything like this and i was on the verge of tears by the end of the ordeal. we were ordered not to come back even after them knowing that we didn’t steal anything. i just felt like i should use my platform to warn others. this was the worst customer service i have ever received at any establishment and i highly recommend not giving these...

This Store Does Not Even Deserve 1 Star. My Daughter WAS RACIALLY PROFILED BY AN OLDER BLACK LADY THAT WORKS HERE. My Daughter Went In This Place With A Pair Of Eyelashes Already In Her Purse From Another Store (Not Uncommon For Her, She Switches Almost Daily). She Picked Up Three Other Pair Of Eyelashes To Purchase, And This Older Black Lady Being Nosey , Was Looking In My Daughters Purse and Assumed She Was Stealing The Pair She Already Had. This Incompetent Lady Asked To Search My Daughter's Purse and Requested That She Pay For The Pair She Had, and Accused Her Of Trying To Steal Them. My Daughter Clearly Explained She Came With Those Eyelashes. I Contacted This Store and Asked Can They Please Rollback Their Cameras. The Lady Told Me They Couldn't Do That. I Have Contacted The Houston Police Department To See If They Can Assist With This Playback , Just To Prove To This Over Zealous Woman That She WAS Wrong. If This Store Needs Money That Bad, That They Accused My Daughter Of Stealing, Then Fine We Don't Mind Donating BUT Accusing Someone Of Theft Is On Another Level. Eyelashes Are Something So Small That We Shouldn't Make A Fuss About, BUT Its The Principle Of...

Do not shop here. The owners are money hungry crooks. I bought a packaged bun piece here. I never wore the piece and tried to bring it back for exchange within the 7 day limit written on the receipt. However, when I get there they tell me they do not exchange hair pieces. Well then why isn't that written on the receipt??? The receipt says no refunds but you can exchange if you bring the item back in original condition! The bun was in its original condition because I never wore it. They never even tried to look at it. Then when I ask them where is this policy printed on the receipt, they point to a random sign by the door that no one is really going to pay attention to unless you point it out to them! These people are truly immoral crooks getting over on the black community. They just make up policies as they go. I will NEVER patronize this business again. If you like at least half-way decent customer service, do not shop here. Go somewhere where your presence as a customer will be respected. The people here don't care about...
