"You didn't order from back there, get out my line."

?

I ordered here since I was a kid -- (yes, a kid who loved the chicken tenders from here, and here only!) and it's never been this awful. Today we (my mother and I) ordered at the drive-thru, and when met at the window, we received a total for the wrong order. We corrected the cashier, saying it was the wrong order and explained it was something else, but she proceeded to offer another wrong order. No big deal at this point, maybe someone drove out of line. After correcting her again, she told us to "get out (her) line."

There was no "let me check the system first," or, "maybe I got something wrong," no, YOU took our order. We didn't understand how she missed a whole order of: red beans and rice large strawberry soda chicken tenders and combination rice broccoli and beef 6 piece wings And caught none of it? And jumped to such a nasty attitude and closed the window in our face.

The rating is still above 2 stars for the sole purpose the food is good, and worth the price. Sure, it has had some price ups over the years, but the quality is still there. She did also apologize, but I'm still... not satisfied with the customer service. Other servers/cashiers have had awful attitudes as if we're taking food out of THEIR kitchen. It's been a problem for years now. Maybe you're missing something or need a straw, and you'll get what you want, but a scrunched face and an eye roll with it (for free of charge.) Fortunately, a kind man did step in for us this time.

I'd suggest making sure you get your receipt, and to go inside the place if you can to order. The drive thru should probably be your last option. I'm willing to give this location a chance again, but I might as well go to the one by my house literally 5 minutes away at this point. The nostalgia is strong and we're willing to drive a few more minutes to this location, but --- good food won't redeem...

Ok well I have seen this restaurant for years and since much was closed after Hurricane Harvey I decided to try it. In the past I don't know why but I was unsure about the place since it was and is cash only. Boy was I wrong, I should have gone sooner. They have pretty decent food, good prices and their portion sizes are excellent. I am mostly a vegetarian and they have good options. I was so impressed I went back two days later and I bet I will be back again this week. The vegetable lo mein is good but the vegetable fried rice is very good. It has an impressive array of veggies (broccoli, carrots, green onion, lima beans, bamboo shoots, corn and egg) Honestly I eat from it for two full days. If you like good food and a lot of it you won't be disappointed. Try the corn nuggets too. yum. Drive through in the back but it's not marked until you are literally up on it, so now you know. ☺ April 30th, 2019 Sadly had to revise my review, today I went back after months not going. The food had same ingredients but either they changed cooks, or oil, or the oil is very stale. It was off and my whole mouth had that oily flavor that was borderline rancid. In this heat guys you need to change the oil regularly. What a disappointment. Won't...

😡😡😡I wish I could give negative 5 stars.... This place doesn't value the community of people it serves food to. I ordered fried wings and combination rice. I received tiny, hard, and over cooked chicken that still had the feathers on every piece. The rice was hard and dried up with spoiled beef in it. The shrimp looked like they had been sitting out since that morning. I mind you I ordered at 7:30pm. I returned to notify them of the spoiled food after making it all the way home. When I arrived the man that I spoke with said because there was 2 wings missing from the meal. He would charge me for half of the meal, because some chicken wasn't there. Not even an sincere apology was given. He gave a short I'm sorry and proceeded to tell me he would only charge have price. I felt like the main concern was not my health and ensuring me that the problem would be solved in the kitchen, but only getting to keep some of my money. Needless to say I asked for a full refund and notified him that I will be contacting the health department about their lackadaisical kitchen procedures. THIS PLACE NEEDS A HEALTH INSPECTION IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THEY HURT SOMEONE SERVING SPOILED...

Ordered chicken and broccoli with steamed rice, got a huge amount of food for the good price. But I'm not sure if they just put all the gummy, fatty non-white chicken they had from other meals and used leftover non-desireable pieces in my meal. I spent quite a bit of time digging thru it all and found a few good pieces. The rice was overcooked, but I belive that is how it's preferred with these meals... flavor was great and they give you lots of liquid gravy with the meal, and the couple broccoli pieces were actually good. Not used to having onions in this meal, but they were huge and easy to pick around!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Just arrived. This is my first time in Houston. Came in from out of town and this is the closest Chinese food spot. I was looking for Wonton Soup. Google Maps says "Wonton Soup on menu". I called and here's how the conversation went "Hello, Jimmy Chan. How may I help you?"... "I'd like to order a large Wonton Soup, and..."... (interrupted) "We don't have Wonton Soup sir" *CLICK*. I guess at least he said "sir". I know this review won't tip the scale but I'm leaving this review anyway. If I can keep one person from going here then I'm happy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
