Josh was a beast! Thx for the awesome deal that never happened. You told me several things that turned out to be false. You told me you set up my furniture delivery for yesterday between 5:00 p.m. and midnight and they would call me 30 minutes before arrival but no one called or showed up. You wasted our time.
You call this morning 10 minutes before the store opened to tell me you didn't know what happened because the delivedy was set up and you had confirmed it with the secretary Friday night. You asked me to give you 15 minutes to call me back with a report about what happened. You did not call me back at 10:15, or 11:15 but I do see a missed call at 12 but no voice message as to what happened or a text message either. In other words nothing. When I show up around 3 p.m., I see you're busy being the beast of a salesman working on someone else's deal.... credit cards in hand.
The girl behind the desk tells me that I was never on the delivery schedule and you and the young lady behind the desk proceed taking turns blaming each other for the mishap. She says you don't have the authority to schedule deliveries and that she told you that Friday night. She says she called me but admits she didn't leave a message so how was I supposed to know my delivery wasnt scheduled? Furthermore, if I wasn't on the schedule, then why didn't you tell me that when I came in the store Saturday? We walked around for 10 or 15 minutes looking for a bedroom set for my parents and you never mentioned a word about my delivery not being scheduled for that day. In fact, you walked away angry because I didn't buy another one. That left a bad taste in my mouth but I figured you were having a bad day so I just left. Somebody is not telling the truth!!!! My delivery could not be both scheduled AND not scheduled....bottom line!
Today, I'm told I can't get it delivered because the base is not available. So I say "No deal". I have already wasted an entire evening waiting on a delivery that was never scheduled.
To me, customer service is far more important than a good deal. I just believe a business should do what they say they're going to do and when they don't, they should accept responsibility and not try to blame the customer or force the customer to accept their terms or lose their money...yes, I was then told I could not cancel the deal. What? You dont have my stuff ready to deliver tonight so no deal. How can I be stuck with something you never delivered? It's not my fault your longtime salesman is not properly trained to understand that he doesn't have the authority to schedule deliveries or how things work at your store. How is that my fault and how am I then stuck with furniture on your terms? I was offered some pieces tonight and others later with a loaner boxspring until they can bring the base which means further inconvenience on my part. NO THANK YOU!!!!
I did not appreciate the shenanigans today and I do not like dealing with unprofessional people or businesses who don't stand by their word. Therefore, I have submitted a dispute form with the credit card company because I do not want to go through with the deal. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for unfair business practices.
Train your people to know what they can and cannot do. Train your people to call when they say they're going to call. Train your people to leave messages when they call with important information. Last but not least, when you don't do your part, then don't expect the customer to be a customer. This is not how to keep a customer at all let alone, a...
Read moreI really enjoyed this past weekend talking to Robert, the exceptional sales associate, who was so patient. And two things that I observed from Robert, number one, he was acknowledgeable, but he didn't burden us. He wasn't overbearing, following us around. He was like, what are you looking for? We might have it. If we don't have it, we can order for you. And then he just let us be. And when we asked him a question, he'd be like, hey, we are looking for something like this. We just don't know where it is. That's when he came back in and assisted us. And that just meant all the world. A little bit of background, we are a third time returning customer from our first house to our second house. Now we are expanding and upgrading furniture because at first we could only afford so much. It was during the pandemic, a lot of unknowns. And now we're like, OK, we're good. We want to upgrade some stuff. We want to get new beds, new chairs. I mean, we had to return to the place that always treated us like royalty. Their quality of beds is exceptional. Even our chairs. Our chairs are exceptional. What happened? You got little kids and with cloth chairs, that's a no, no. You need the leather. So because we got the cloth on, they got dirty very fast. Now, mind you, they did ask us to get the protection and we were like, no, we don't need it. I still don't believe that they're needed. For the price, they lasted very long and they can be used for outdoor chairs now or us playing cards or family games, just not at our dining room because our marble table has definitely still strong, still sturdy. We just need new chairs. In our bed, we never got a new bed set. We just only got the mattress. And so after, think about maybe eight years, we're finally getting one that will last us for the next eight, 10 years until we want to decide to upgrade it again. But this team is phenomenal. Their patience, their ability to answer questions in the deals. I mean, my gosh, you get incredible quality for a very low price than gallery furniture and other furniture stores, which I have a gallery furniture in my house too, but it's nice to be able to get things on a bit of a budget as well and still be high quality. That's what I love. And their family members, I mean, the same people I saw four years ago during COVID, they're still there. And that just speaks to the exemplary services that the owner has. So I believe if you're looking for a place that has quality furniture that's going to last, but also ensuring that you can get things that you want and that they'll have it in stock, then I strongly recommend that you go here from everything, from Texas cowboy to luxury, to twin beds, to paintings. They have it all. You will find it and you will find family there. That's what I love. That's why we keep coming back. So I hope you all have an incredible...
Read moreThis was by far the most horrid place i have ever considered buying something from. *Do yourself a favor and drive down the street to BI Rite Furniture
Walking in the door they were all nice and friendly, (buts that's to be expected). Literally the second we chose our furniture and started the credit check process, the true colors of the store began to show. During the credit check, my SS Number I.d. And Debit card was requested from the salesman, which made me uncomfortable, so i asked for a simple explanation why the debit card was need. His first response was to get immediately angry and it was clearly visible in his face, and with an extremely rude tone say "its basic procedure" then storm off to the back of the office. Shortly After he came back with (what i believe is the finical manager ) and she basically says the exact same thing, except now she begins to almost belittle me saying, "well if you feel you cant get approved than maybe you should go elsewhere or maybe you can go to our in house no credit check financing company (R.A.C.). Also Keep in mind all i asked was why do you need my debit card. At this point i wish me and my wife left but sadly we didn't, we really liked this living room set. Since A proper explanation was never giving i decide to avoid the store credit check and go to the 3rd party finical company (R.A.C.). Once we got all the Paper work finished and got approved thru R.A.C, the store owner(Brad ) came to see us. And this man was by far 10x ruder than the salesman and the financial lady, firstly he basically called the R.A.C. Associate stupid because according to him she was not charging us right. After insulting this sweet lady he began to scowl at me and my wife , and said that since we are using R.A.C. all the prices of each piece needs to go up "because otherwise they don't make money off of it". So after all is said and done, the salesman returns to try to force this furniture protection on us Saying things like " we cannot let the furniture leave without the protection, you need to buy it", basically LYING TO OUR FACE!!!!! JUST TO TRY TO SQUEEZE EVERY DROP OUT OF US. Shortly after he left the R.A.C. associate explained he was lying to us, that its not required and that's primarily there biggest commissions is thru the protection plans. So Naturally we left, we did however think her for her honesty. My Only reason to create a yelp account was to tell people how horrible this place is.
