China King — Restaurant in Houston

The food here was scarce.Will not recommend. They charge children that are tall as adult prices(even if they are 9 yrs), which also up charges their drink.The only thing I like here was the customer service from my waiter (not the hostess- she was quite rude and unprofessional, and quite possibly one of the owners). I did enjoy the flan and pineapple. The rice, muscles, and crabs was spoiled. Half the fruit was spoiling. They make a limited amount of crawfish and crabs.Most of the sushi was spoiled.They only had two tables of food,plus sushi bar and dessert/salad bar. They also have it , where you can order to be made; most of which was spoiling or wilting. The hot tea was regular Lipton kind of tea, not green tea or any specialty tea. Heed my warning, I got sick.This place cost more than other buffets, and is not worth it! This place needs their refrigeration checked (for their customers sake). Been coming here since 2017, But recently they have made renovations which is actually good except the bathrooms which have engraving in them with slurs and stuff and the bathroom looks like it hasn’t been renovated in years. Anyways recently they have started taking good things out of the menu don’t have really good items anymore like fried shrimp or more food that kids would actually want to eat maybe it’s because they have a small serving area which makes them have less food or something, Also some of the food is kinda cold which I would recommend to come in the weekends event though it is kinda full they keep taking food out which it warm and fresh. China King? Tuh! There isn’t anything royal about this place! The food was cold, the staff was maskless and gloveless. Tell me how can the waitress assist me if she doesn’t even understand English 🤦🏾‍♀️ To be king one must be superior to all other contenders. Here, the menu is limited, they don’t even have Kung Pao Chicken!! The restrooms could definitely use a royal flush. It smells like the decaying bodies of all the kings before it. Typically, at a buffet they are constantly adding fresh food to the trays, not here. I had to ask for fresh sweet and sour chicken (I won’t mention how the slot was full of chicken nuggets) and never received it.
