Rude accusatory cashier. I bought 2 dresses at Marshalls for my brothers rehearsal dinner. I took them home to try on and get my husbands opinion of which looked the best. I brought the receipt (well within the return window) and the dress that I decided not to wear and keep to return. I was greeted by an accusatory cashier. The first thing she said was "What is the nature of your return?". Since when do they ask that? I had the receipt and the dress was brand new with the original tags. I was friendly and talked about how my brother just got married so I bought a couple of dresses to take home to decided what to wear and I kept and wore a different dress so I was returning this one. She looked at the dress inside and out. It had all the tags on it. I tried it on at home because they let solo individuals use the " family/handicapped dressing room" and I'm not going to wait over 15 minutes anymore for the only dressing room that can fit my stroller. The cashier said "this dress has been worn and I can't but it back up on the rack in this condition". What?!! You can't put up a brand new never been worn dress with all of the original tags??!!! I said "no Mam, it's never been worn. If I would have worn it I would have taken off all of the tags, and cut off hanger straps." She proceeded to call her manager on the phone and say "this lady is returning a dress that has been worn." The manager going off of what the cashier was telling her, told her not to let me return it. I took the dress from her so that she couldn't do anything to compromise the condition of the dress and I told her I would like to speak to her manager in person. She called the manager to come to the counter. The manager came to inspect the brand new dress herself, deemed it in brand new condition and told the cashier "she can return this dress". The cashier returned the dress and then tried to act friendly and said "sorry for the confusion". There was no confusion. She knew the dress was brand new, she just didn't want to issue me a return. I was going to shop in the store after my return but I was so mad on the inside that I had to leave. This is my neighborhood Marshalls and I will never shop there again. I drive to the Galleria Marshalls...
Read moreOh man! How I hate to rate low this store just because one single person! There is manners and ways to treat customers, I got check out by register # 2 today. I can’t say the cashiers name, what a terrible way to serve and necessity for improvement. Manager please train your personal. I’ve been to this store many times almost every week, of course I love Marshall's. Today was a new person there that I never saw before but he never said a nice thing, he will put his hands on his waist and will swing his eyes like hurry I don’t like you!, while I was getting stuffs out but whoa! What attitude. Not a greeting not a nice speech. When I told him he needs to improve his service he arrogantly yelled, I will! in front of manager. This young ones needs to be trained because we don’t beg for clothes we pay for them, be nice and respectful. Some people just think that they have the right to be rude and disrespectful to others, I don’t know who told them they can treat others like that or that they own the planet. Get it together!!! What unpleasant experience. Managers, get it to work and train your team right! Saying how are you or how is your day won’t hurt anyone, in fact will make you and them happier unless you’re happy being awful person. For all the others that I’ve had a good experience with you...
Read moreThe customer service at this location is horrible. I was returning two items that were under $40 bucks. I asked for cash back for quicker turn around as the bank take however many days to post it in my bank account. The lighter skinned black lady with dreads was rude and condescending as she was telling me no. She did not explain why although I asked is there a reason why due to the purchasing being under $50. She got an attitude with me and just kept saying it can't be returned that way. I asked for corporate/ district manger number to express my concerns . As I am a frequent shopper at this location and wanted to express some concerns. The first number that I was given was incorrect I had to call back for the correct number. I asked for an email that the workers claim they had no recollection of and or did not know. The two black ladies in the front/ registers are rude , condescending and liars. They need to be fired immediately. No one wants to go into an establishment and spoken to in a disrespectful manner. DO...
