Two Hands Corn Dogs — Restaurant in Houston

The only reason I ended up here at this place was due to my son. He wanted to tryout “Korean style “ corn dogs. We didn’t realize this was only a “Take-Out” food place. The young lady at the register showed no emotion. When it came to ordering we mentioned it was our first time and if there was something particular that she recommended (crickets ). We (family of 3) decided to share 1 box of 5 different corn dogs. We went off the picture we saw on the advertisement banner. We asked for the tots with no sauce. And 2 slushy’s. The spicy dog was half cheese and half sausage, the rest were sausage. Now I do recall the cashier asking if sugar was okay my response was “sure if that’s how they come”. I regret it!!! All the corn dogs had sugar YUK! We couldn’t taste the difference in the dogs due to all the sugar. My son said his half corn dog was good. The mayo isn’t spicy it’s sweet. We all had a bite of each but did not finish them, except the spicy my son finished that one. And as you can see we were given tots with sauce (which was ok because we got to taste them and realized they’re not spicy just sweet). The presentation of the corn dogs was nice (good job to the cook). Would we come again no( too far of a drive for us to not be able to eat there and too much sugar). food was good but this was the worst customer service i have EVER experienced. we had some confusion on ordering through the tablet, we had to wait about 10 minutes to get the young mans attention (we were the only ones there at this moment), he OUT LOUD GROANED AND SIGHED and said i’ll just take your order, and even then it was another young VERY RUDE lady who seemed very upset to be taking an order that ended up “helping” us. when we were about to pay, she says out loud if we would be paying in cash, apparently she was talking to the people behind us. we politely said no we’ll be paying with card and she abruptly said “i wasn’t talking to you.” there is absolutely no reason for a workers demeanor to be so rude to the customers. we will most definitely not be coming back to this location. It was my first time going and overall I really enjoyed it! The potato corndog was perfect with the kimchi fries and I loved the mozzarella/sausage combo! I also loved the vanilla cream soda I got with the $10.99 combo meal. I paid for an extra sauce on the side and they forgot it which is okay, I’ll make sure to double check the bag better next time. I will say, the atmosphere could be improved. We walked in and an employee made eye contact and then she looked away. No one greeted me, instructed me to use the kiosk to order, or came up to the register to take my order. The front lobby had trash on the floor and there is no where to sit while you wait for your food to cook. All in all I will return and order again knowing what I know now.
