This is my first time coming to this Ross. I walked in around 9:32PM, it was really calm. Believe me the reviews are right when they say its clean, organized, has a good variety of products. The reasson im giving a poor review is the way all employees made me feel. When i walked in i had no problem, but then things started getting frustrating. I started to notice that two employees where following and spying on me in the home goods section. Then in about one minute the fronnt door security walks by me and i see him turn to look at my back checking to see if i had something in my pockets. ( wondering how i noticed, i saw him from a glass decorated ornament). After this i was walking in other lanes and notice the security checking on me behind in the other lane. After a while the security left, but then once again. A "regular customer" was following my every foot step slowly as i was looking at things. If you wonder why i put regular customer in parenthesis is because every store will have their undercover securty that is dressed normally that way you as a customer dont think of them as security. Where im trying to get at with my review is that they should work on spying better or have someone thats ACTUALLY checking the cameras. I wont come back to this Ross any time soon, i like to feel comfortable not harassed when im shopping. I couldnt even concentrate at what i was trying to look at because my focus was on all this people spying and following me. Oh and i almost forgot to mention, when i was walking to to the exit door one employee kept on looking at my shoes. When i opened the door it seemed like she was about to tell me something bit she didnt. I wonder what she wanted to tell me, to stoo because i stole my shoes? Pathetic! Be aware people, you might be treated like a criminal in Mayerland Ross. Ill stick to the Sugar land...
Read moreI’ve been this Ross location more than a couple of times the fitting room guy I believe his name is Matthew. He’s so weird. I say hi he don’t respond not polite and he’s staring at you. No reason today when I visit he was cashier and he was the one ringing me up before I started. I said I always say hi no answer so rude. He’s supposed to be greeting me but I did anyway no answer and start ringing. There is a three-piece for my son that I bought a stick together he unlocked it. Leave the main shirt underneath put the top and the short only in the bag purposely I didn’t notice until I get home because he’s already weird attitude towards to me when I get home I look at it and the main shirt is not there. I have to come back the store again to ask for the shirt that was a waste of time and how bad Customer Service not always that one of the guy the front he is supposed to be a shift supervisor or something because my son was with me so I want him to try to clothing and it’s hard tag on The three-piece and I ask him to open the hard tag he said no how am I supposed to know if it’s or not I’m already in the store but very bad experience. I’ll never come back on this store so I’m organizing...
Read moreI had an unsavory encounter with the rep at the entrance. She was probably just doing her job, but it was quite embarassing and felt like harassment. After I paid I walked like 10 ft to the entrance and the rep insisted on seeing my receipt. I have no idea what I did with my receipt because I was in a rush, but she saw me pay and the cashier confirmed I paid, plus the only things I had were the 3 items I purchased, my phone and cash, not even a purse or wallet, thus no where to conceal anything. Anyways she kept insisting I couldnt leave without showing a reciept and it turned into a scene. The cashier and her were going back and forth and everyone was staring at me. I might not have mindlessly shoved the receipt into the bag if the cashier had told me to have it ready. I couldnt find it on the spot so after going back and forth for a bit and feeling embarrassed I just walked out because I did pay and I'm not legally required to show my receipt. Eventually I did find it wadded up inside a shoe I bought. The point is it was unnecessary. She saw me pay and I walked 10ft; what did they think I was...
