This place is a real treat! It was my first visit, a friend of mine had given me a gift card. I must admit I had been curious before that but thought it might be too pricey. Boy , was I ever wrong! The prices are more than reasonable oh, I would even say too low for the quality of food you get! The decor is very tasteful and the place has a nice atmosphere. I had a chicken Parisian sandwich with a caesar salad, and it only cost Penney's more than you would pay 4 reconditioned preformed and tasteless fast food at one of the super unhealthy places no one should eat from! The atmosphere alone is worth many dollars more than that! The food! The food I don't see how they can make stuff of that quality and only charge the little that they do! Their Bakery is amazing! No other way to say it! I am going back in a couple of days to sneak in some afternoon sweets! If you've never been, then do yourself a big big favor and give them a visit! Thank you for being there La Madeleine, you have a long time customer in me now. I will post pictures on my next visit, shouldn't be long , I don't think I...

However today it has been sloppily assembled (meat and bacon hanging half out of the bun) the bacon was just shy of burned the cheese was almost nonexistent AND it was missing the mayo! It tasted awful. Had been looking forward to this meal, as my work day had been very difficult, and the food at La Madeline had rarely disappointed me. Sent the burned and sloppily assembled sandwich back. Was questioned why by (I'm assuming) the manager on duty - skinny woman with short hair - and was told there would be a 15 minute wait. I agreed knowing it has NEVER taken that long to get that meal with the shop as empty as it was. The item that was returned to me by this same person STILL had burned bacon. All that it seems to have happened was that the contents from the prior sandwich had been transferred to a fresh bun. Too tired to argue. Instead, I decided to leave a review. I can forgive the sticky tables, smudged glasses, and questionable cleanliness of silverware if my meal tastes good. Today, I'm not...
Read moreWalked into this location on Aug 1st at around 5pm. Not greeted by anyone. Normally you wait by the entrance and someone proactively greets you and takes your order or at least directs you. This definitely did not happen for my party or the next party that walked in. There was a lady in the bakery that was not welcoming or anything I have to believe she saw two parties standing right in front of her looking lost. I would’ve expected some signage or something to head directly to the cashier at the end of the line. Finally the nice guy from the cashier directed us to come to the cashier and order. Got our food quickly my sandwich had ice cold meat inside (it was a croque monsier) and the cheese on the bread was not really melted either. I brought this to the attention of the cashier who again did a good job of taking care of this issue. The lack of service and friendliness initially mixed with a sub par sandwich sorta killed the experience. I love la Madeleine but this was probably the worst experience I’ve...
