I usually don't write reviews, but I had a disturbing experience at Milk Mustache today. My friend and I entered the store, stood in line to be served and were blatantly ignored by staff when it was our turn to order. BOTH STAFF MEMBERS out front gestured toward the couple behind us to take their order (there were no other customers ahead of us or behind the couple). I waved my hands to ask to order and one of the cashiers seemed reluctant to take my order...I think the only reason she did was to not make a scene in front of their preferred customers. This experience literally ruined my day - I was so distraught that I explained what happened to my father who lived through the Jim Crow era and assured me that what I experienced was a typical occurrence in the 60s. The cashiers were very young, so I think they were directed by owners/management to refuse service to a "certain demographic" of customers. I took one bite of the half baked cookie and threw it out of...

When I pull in, it is in a quiet and quaint strip mall. The outside of Milk Mustache is covered in brick with pink trim and through the old school shop window, you see more brick, pink, chandeliers and a very cute pink christmas tree. I walk in and am greeted by the sweetest woman. I order my cookies.... and I cant help but order 4 more because they look delicious and she kinda talked me into it. Lol. I walk out and enjoy my first bite of cookie. (Peppermint hot cocoa☕️) It was phenomenal. They are seemingly undercooked in the center but thats kind of the point for these cookies. The flavor was on point. I have more to try, red velvet, reeses peanut butter chocolate chip, cremé bruleé, & chocolate chip) they even give you a wonderful little card on how to store these and even freeze them. Definitely will be back for more cookies when I am on this side...

These are the best cookies I have ever tasted! My family and I travel A LOT and we taste as many cookie shops as we can. These are perfect! They are big and sturdy in the best way possible, with a slight crunch on the outside and perfectly soft inside. These cookies aren't overpoweringly sweet like most places, and the selections are great. The cookie pull is A1! I wish I had taken a pic of how beautiful the cookies look inside! To top it all off, the customer service is AMAZING!!!! The two ladies were patient, accommodating with my cinnamon allergy, kid friendly,(which is extremely hard to come by now-a-days), informative, quick, and sweet! They let you sample as many flavors of edible cookie dough as you want. The shop itself is so cute and instagram worthy if you're into that. We will definitely be back as...

The cookies are huge and delicious! We got the blueberry lemon cookie and cookies n cream cookie - both were phenomenal. Nice toasted and crunchy exterior, pretty dense full of yummy goodness, and a gooey cookie dough-like center. The cookies are very shareable not only because of their large size, but also because it's easy to tear off pieces and pass around. The interior is nicely decorated and they offer some nice little merchandise at the front. We also sampled some of the edible cookie dough that they offer - the birthday batter is really good! Excited to come back and try some more flavors as they have many. Unfortunately, the smores and red velvet cookies were sold out by the time we got there around 4pm on opening day. Just means we will have to go back another time.

I tried the sea salt caramel pecan, campfire bliss, and red velvet cream cheese. The only one I would order again is the sea salt caramel but even that one was overwhelming. You have to be cookie lover to fully enjoy these huge cookies .. with filling. I didn't expect the red velvet to have sooo much chocolate inside, I was expecting more of the cookie and cream cheese. I felt like the chocolate chips were overwhelming. The cookies were harder/crunchier on the outside than I expected. I don't think I'll try it again since I do prefer insomnia cookies, but it was a cool experience.
