TCBY — Local services in Houston

My son asked to get yogurt last week. We hadn’t been to TCBY in years. So we walked in and excited to return. The only employee was very irritated and said that she was closing for lunch and not serving any more customers. She grudgingly assisted my son and I paid about $6.50. Today my son asked for yogurt and we went to TCBY again. The same employee was on duty. She looked like she was crying in the corner. I was kind and asked if she was ok. She mumbled something and took our order. My son asked for the same thing. This time I was charged $12.50. I was shocked and said, “It was $6.50 last week and now you are charging me double? The girl replied, “I gave you half last time.” I said, “This is ridiculous. The same cup. I could get 2 gallons of ice cream for this price.” The employee responded, “Yeah, we’re expensive.” I told my son, “Let’s go. We won’t be returning here. This TCBY employee is so rude, unwelcoming, and she has such a bad attitude.” Horrible customer service. We were there at 3:10pm on 12/14/24, Mr. or Ms. Manager. Date visited: 7/11/22 at 11AM. Two words, "Deep Cleaning." I visited this place as soon as they opened at 11AM with my 2 children. The employee smiled and gave me a shrug. I started off by saying, "Hello, I can wait for you to finish setting up, no rush, take your time." A few minutes later, she called me to the counter to order. I ordered for my kids only. Nothing special about their product. A vanilla cone from McDonald's would have been the best move that day. This place looked really dirty and needed some serious cleaning! I kept rushing my kids so we could quickly leave! I noticed a spider on the cushioned seats and moved my son so fast and we ended up seating on the tables right in the center of the store. Do me a favor next time you visit. From inside the store, look at walls where the doors are located. Move your eyes lower to the floor and around the cushioned seats. Examine the seats carefully! The floor is reminiscent of a gas station floor! This was my first time here and I simply selected it since I was on San Felipe area ... never again! I wish I took photos because the Google photos for this establishment are a façade! Clean this...

Good service. I was very disappointed that they do not have the customers convenience in mind. They only unlock one of their 2 doors, and this means customers can not be entering while another customer is exiting. Every customer has to wait for other customers to get through the one door, this is also a fire code violation. It is especially frustrating if a customer is in a wheelchair. There is no reason to not unlock both of their doors. If one is broken, get it fixed. Don’t inconvenience your customers. And don’t violate...
